United StatesLocation was great in a small town. The owner who greeted us was very accommodating and nice, we loved our conversation about her pictures and family. The room was clean and had everything we needed to clean up. We ate at the pub next door for dinner and a few drinks and walked the town. Breakfast was really good and we enjoyed the experience. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

United StatesThe stay was great, Catriona was sweet and the family seemed kind. There's a cute kitchenette with kettle and fridge. The bed was comfortable for the night and the on-suite bathroom was convenient. One drawback with the bathroom was the shower, the temperature kept shifting no matter what I'd have it on. I would have it at a reasonable heat then go to boiling hot randomly. So be careful of that! Otherwise the stay went seamlessly.

The bedrooms were excellent. Spacy and spotless.
The bedrooms were excellent. Spacy and spotless. However at about 6.30am there was a lot of noise from the users of the adjoining room's shower. We also heard the occupant/s the evening before. The noise of the water was entirely due the the bad insulation of the walls. I think it will be a major problem in the future.

I was happy with the accommodation and the local pub(s).
I was happy with the accommodation and the local pub(s). However, please note that this is all in a small hamlet called Boolteens, which is about 3 miles from Castlemaine, so you don't need to visit the latter!

I noticed the host had dried out another family's coats for them (yes, it was raining!). She was very welcoming.
The B & B was all you would hope for, and to top it, the restaurant/bar next door was great for food and relaxing in. (And, there's another bar over the road for Sky sports if you want to bet on a horse!)
Castlemaine has a statue of The Wild Colonial Boy.

We visited Tralee a few times and we were delighted with the...
We visited Tralee a few times and we were delighted with the places we ate. We had a lovely meal in both La Scala and Yummy. We also went to Camp, Castlegregory and visited The Maharees. We found our way home through the Connor Pass. The views were breath taking.

Location was perfect for exploring the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good selection of items to choose from. We had dinner in the pub and the fish and chips was fab. They also serve a grand pint of Guinness 😁. Liz, our host was a wealth of information on places to see that we hadn’t included on our itinerary.

Great value for money B&B located in a fantastic position to drive to some of the best areas in County Kerry. The room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed and sofas, clean bathroom with nice shower. Easy parking. Surrounded by the Irish countryside far enough from the main road for a deep sleep. Very friendly owner. Simple breakfast included too. We will return for sure!

The people who own this beautiful place ware so welcoming and kind . They had beautiful freshly made scones for us. And had the place so well equipped for us. It was so relaxing with an award winning garden to look out at. And the most friendliest little dog who visited us every morning to play fetch with. We really enjoyed our stay.
