I loved the accomodation. The room was lovely, the gardens were fabulous. I loved that there was a river running along the end of the garden, it was definitely therapeutic. The host Des was really lovely and very helpful. There was lovely brown bread, scones, hotcross buns and treats provided in the room. Tea, coffee and milk were also provided. The room was lovely and warm. plenty of towels were provided. Everything was just perfect.

Great location for hiking and for some peace and quiet. This is a terrific escape from hustle and bustle. We didn't use the various hot tubs and saunas but I am sure they are wonderful. Michelle and Rhona gave us great advice about the locale and a day trip to Lismore is a must.

This place was exceptional - not to be missed! Ciara was a fabulous host. She was very friendly, provided information on the area, and made a great, locally sourced breakfast. After staying here, we saw a program on Ireland public TV about how Barnahown came to be - from idea to opening day. Amazing story!

Shadowvale is an absolutely beautiful home located in the gorgeous Tipperary Co. countryside. Our host, Theresa, was spectacular and puts out an amazing breakfast spread! Our room was a wonderful size, as was the bathroom. Lovely pubs around the area and close to great sights like the Rock of Cashel. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope tol be back again!

I loved the location.

I loved the location. The house was beautiful, everything was perfect for myself, and my friend. The room was big, a lovely sized bathroom. Des was a great host, we had the craic with him. There was food in the room, lovely brown bread, scones, hot cross buns, coffee, tea, milk, snacks. I was really impressed with the accommodation. When we arrived we were starving and Des rang the local pub/restaurant (The Market Stone) and asked the owner if they could fit us in for food. We had a lovely meal (food coma). The following day we were hiking the Knockmealdown mountains, however, the weather was stormy and we were advised not to climb to the summit. we ended up doing a nice long hike and headed back to Clogheen for food. I will 100% be back and I really hope Des has a room vacant for me.
