I had a fantastic stay at the County Arms Hotel in Birr this April. The room was absolutely fabulous — spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The beds were large and incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the lovely in-room coffee to the excellent breakfast that was delivered straight to the room — a real treat to start the day. Everything about the stay felt comfortable and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend the County Arms Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I’d happily stay again.

The staff is wonderful! All are very nice and assist each other as needed. Excellent teamwork.

The shower water pressure was excellent. Delicious breakfast, cozy and clean room. Lovely host. Great half way stop on the way back to Dublin airport from cliffs of Moher

The Stables is a lovely B&B - the building has lots of character. Breakfast was very nice - all cooked freshly to order and a great choice. We also had lunch there - the restaurant is lovely and there is a nice courtyard out the back. The room was clean and comfortable. Birr Castle is on your doorstep so we took the opportunity to go in there for the morning.

The property was easily accessible to the center of town and walking distance from Birr Castle. The living space was clean, cozy and comfortable. They left the fridge full with a light breakfast which was lovely.
