I stayed for 4 nights during the Letterkenny Blues Festival. The staff were so lovely. My room was beautiful and quiet, a good size and the bed was very comfy. I loved having The Warehouse next door..again excellent staff (all of them!) Great place to meet friends, food and drinks were fab. Has a car park! Conveniently right in the centre of the town. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend; McGettigans will be my first choice when I return to Letterkenny. Thanks guys!!

We stopped in Letterkenny on a whim after realizing the drive from Giant's Causeway to Sligo was going to be a bit long. We were so glad we did! Adorable little village with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shopping. My husband was able to grab a garment at a men's shop, we got souvenirs at the quaint gift shop, and enjoyed some authentic trad music at Blakes. The Dillon Hotel was absolutely superb for the price, with easy covered parking and breakfast included. Lastly we cannot rave enough about the Yellow Pepper. The desk clerk at the Dillon recommended this restaurant and it was the best meal we ate in our entire trip to Ireland, HANDS DOWN! I got the John Dory special (a fish I'd never tried before) and husband got the warm salad. 10/10

Letterkenny is a delightful historic town with great pubs, hotels and bars. It has a beautiful cathedral worth visiting. Plenty of shopping around the town. We stayed in the Main Street so had easy access to all the amenities. Our favourite food was in Dillon’s Hotel, a wee bit pricey but definitely worth it. The best thing about Letterkenny is its people; we had a very warm welcome from everyone we came across. That makes up for the weather! As this town is high up, there is often what we call Irish mist. Forget your hair straighteners and always take a raincoat!

Letterkenny is well situated for travelling North to the coast such as Ards Forest Park and West such as Donegal, all places are 30mins - 60mins away. If the weather had been better it would have been even more enjoyable, will return later in the year.

The property was a great location, the hotel was extremely clean, staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The receptionist with the brown hair ( didn’t get her name) was wonderful. If I could give her 5 stars I would.
