This hotel has city walls!! , so you have the chance and I highly recommended, to walk the top of the walls and enjoy the view!! It is Centered, walkable, pretty, comfortable rooms and bed, friendly staff, the bar tender Nico!, was super friendly and gave us recommendations and also Shannon from the reception and the restaurant staff super nice (breakfast!). Complete breakfast, very good!! Our room was very nice, comfy, big bed, spacious bathroom, and the hotel has it’s own PARKING!!!!!! Of course not many spaces but if you get there enough time before check in your probability to get a space is high. If not, there is another parking close to the hotel! Check in was easy. Very close to shops, mall, rest, plaza, and pubs!!! Its a very nice town to walk and enjoy!!

Very nice and clean hotel!! Room was bigger than expected, and the bed! Omg 😍 we almost book 1 night more just because of that bed! Hahaha sooo cozy!!! The staff was extremely friendly and sooo helpful 🩷

Did not realise it was self check in and had not done that previously. . However we received extraordinary help from Hotel 9, Maggie who got it all sorted. Would recommend this property to all. It was super clean, very modern, warm, comfortable and provided everything needed. Location is excellent and our room on second floor overlooked main area and laneway to water view . Sound proof window kept street noise out. Victoria car park nearly directly opposite Hotel 9 provided reasonably priced parking to 6.30 pm. Extra coins deposited gave us a credit to mid morning the next day so didn't have to go down at 8.30 am to top up meter. There were lots of parking rangers seen patroĺling. Big thank you to Hotel 9 for making our stay in Derry so wonderful. Within 1 minute of Hotel 9 there are 10 pubs including two of the smallest pubs in the world. Phenomenal meals had at The Guild Hall Taphouse. Cheers! .

I booked this as a little holiday before my son went back to school. We must have been upgraded to a suite because it was a massive room with two king sized beds and a huge bathroom with separate shower and bath. We had the best stay, he loved the swimming pool and although we didn’t use the steam room or sauna they looked really lovely and plenty of people using them. Tv had Netflix and a couple of other apps and plenty satellite channels. Staff were so friendly the whole time and my son who has special needs even commented on how lovely the staff were. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend.

Location was perfect. The room was great. I loved the shower. Everything was spotless.

The hotel is very modern and the rooms are stunning! The hotel has been open since October 2025 but looks like it was open yesterday. The staff was also very helpful. It is also close to the city center.

The woman that checked us in (and out and served breakfast) was incredibly friendly and funny! As the UK was experiencing a heat wave, we were very happy to find a fan had been brought into the room. We had a room facing the road, which was not as noisy as we expected. Breakfast was quick and had a nice selection. We definitely would recommend!

Delicious supper night before in the bar at surprisingly low price for Ireland. Followed by delicious breakfast the next morning in beautiful stone (old church) section of hotel with a Celtic exhibition on top floor. The staff are delightfully friendly. And finally, despite a wedding on the night we stayed, there wasn't a sound to be heard in my room. I chose the hotel based on reviews and they didn't lie. Will be returning at end of summer with two sisters when one visits from Canada.
