This was the perfect stop as we made our way west through Ireland. The place had everything we needed—very comfy, well-equipped, and a great spot to rest and recharge along the journey. Plenty of space to relax. We couldn’t have asked for a better stopover. Highly recommend!

Amazing little place with a great hostess. The room had everything we needed for the stay, there was a parking spot avalible and on top of that we got a fantastic fry up in the morning. Felt like staying over at a friends place.

Typical Irish village with great facilities and friendly locals. P.Eagan's bar made me feel so welcome, dog as well. The Greenway at the old railway station in Moate was great for my morning walk. Moate was central to my visit being near to Athlone tracing my Ancestry.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely comfy bed. Great shower. And though some of the utensils could do with updating, the kitchenette had everything we needed and we were able to cook multiple quality meals. There's a great pub less than ten minutes walk away which had good food, drink, trad music and welcoming locals. Moate village is five mins drive and Athlone 15-20. Plenty of dog friendly cafes and walks in the vicinity.

I stayed here with group friends from arriving to leavin owner was exceptional fantastic lady😊 unfortunately we were only staying 1 nite as we were goin out dancing to the well in moate a d heading shearwater following nite .we had everything we needed in apartment beautiful and It was immaculately clean . .😊

One of the few places in Ireland/Scotland that has washer and dryer. The place is large and VERY comfortably accommodates a family of 4. They do have a dog that does not go to the visitor house, however it is super friendly and my kids loved playing with him in the big yard. I highly recommend

Quiet area, only 10 minutes drive from moate. Has all the facilities you would require fridge, cooker, microwave, coffee making machine, kettle et cetera.. Triton T 90 electric shower.
