Great time from start to finish. Colleen is so welcoming, couldn't have done more for us. The house is lovely and we felt very at home there. Breakfasts were amazing. House is well situated with several restaurants quite near and only 10 miles from the ferry at Greencastle to Magilligan Point.

The Shepherd’s Hut was the PERFECT place for my holiday. It is exactly as pictured. Bed was perfectly comfy. Cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, bread and biscuits provided. Bathroom was small but adequate (what else would you expect- a double vanity and claw foot tub? 😉🤣). Moville is quaint and I’m pretty sure everyone knows everyone else. Eileen was a gorgeous host- always willing to offer help. Of a taxi is needed, use Skelly taxi. Donal, the owner, is a delight. Basically gave me a personal tour of Malin Head. Though more he only takes cash. The outside area of the hut was serene and beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and spend more time time. It’s best suited for 1 person. I suppose you could do 2, but it would be very tight.

Staying with Patricia and Richard was an absolute highlight of our motorbike trip to Ireland. They're incredibly kind and sincere, and they made us feel truly at home. They went out of thier way to ensure we had everything we needed. And thier house? It's in the most amazing location - breathtaking views and pure tranquility! We really hope to be back there to enjoy meaningful conversations with them as we did this time!

The room was large with on-suite bathroom. It had a light and airy feeling and was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Coffee, tea, water and a hot water kettle in the room made getting a refreshing drink easy.

Typical Irish town, friendly but nothing to do and very run down. Very dated shops, found a nice coffee shop but that is about it. Nice walk along the water edge. Ate at our hotel so can't comment on restaurants.

lovely hotel with tranquil views. I'd book a better room view next time rather than views of carpark. Only 2 changing rooms for pool, one with a lock that didn't work. Vast majority of lockers were unused & opened. However, reception said no keys/lockers were available - something needs looked at here. Ate at boathouse restaurant, lovely meal, on sunday night 4/5 things on menu sold out after they had a busy Saturday night.

Its only feburary so i wasnt expecting too much going on but...

Its only feburary so i wasnt expecting too much going on but i was pleasantly surprised at how lively it was. Plenty of bars and cafes and even tourists out and about. Found a lovely restaurant call Rosatos which was excellent value with lovely genuine staff. Also went to the corner bar which had a fantastic live band on the friday night and drinks prices very ereasonable and great staff. Im really looking forward to experiencing Moville in the summer!

There are some great places to eat and relax in Moville,...

There are some great places to eat and relax in Moville, among them were Rosato's Bar & Restaurant on R238 and Reds on Main Street. Walking about Moville is a pleasure, not just along Main Street but the Shore Path close to Lough Foyle affords great views and an introduction to the history of the area.

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more lively

I thought Spindrift was delightful.

I thought Spindrift was delightful. The property was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I found the owners very friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile by supplying a stocked fridge, a pre-set open fire and called to ensure we had everything we needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others

The Shepherd hut had everything you need and cleverly designed so it felt spacious. Set in a lovely private location it is ideal for exploring Inishowen. It is walking distance to the beautiful shore walk between Moville and Greencastle. Eileen and Paddy are very welcoming and I thoroughly recommend staying here.

Loved the beautiful surroundings, the owner is very friendly with nothing too much bother, we had 3 dogs with us and we were made to feel welcome, totally peace and quiet with facilities close by and not far from the beaches that Donegal is famous for. Would highly recommend.

Self catering but there was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jams and butter. Also a bottle of wine 🍷 thank you James. The location was good. Coming from a lland locked county it was great to walk the sea walk. Good location for seeing east Donegal

Colleen was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. We purchased her home made treacle bread and if you haven't tried it you are loosing out on the best moist loaf in Donegal. A truelly lovely stay. We will be back.
