This gorgeously furnished, delightful B&B will embrace you like a warm hug. Nestled in the spectacular Ring of Kerry in the seaside town of Waterville (charming and idyllic in its own right), our beautiful room overlooking the ocean was exceptionally comfortable, clean, cosy and thoughtfully equipped. Thank you to our lovely, hospitable hosts for making our stay such a highlight; we didn't want to leave.

Everything about this property was great. Wonderful view, tons of space and communication with the host was fantastic. It is hard to find a place that offers 4 seperate bedrooms with multiple bathrooms. I thought that fresh milk, fresh bread and cereal were a great touch.

Excellent supermarket with extremely helpful, pleasant staff. The derelict hotel building in the middle of the village is a sad sight which takes from the rest of the village. Do the golf courses have to be so expensive?

Waterville is an interesting stop along the Ring of Kerry...

Waterville is an interesting stop along the Ring of Kerry along the coast, it is a town with history and a bit of whimsy. Two things to plan for in advance (next time): Book the Skellig Islands tour well in advance, during Puffin season preferably. Choose dates to visit during lobster season - we missed it by one day!

We had a very comfortable stay in the Smugglers Inn.

We had a very comfortable stay in the Smugglers Inn. The hotel's breakfasts were delicious and the staff were very pleasant. We attended 10am Sunday Mass nearby in a beautiful Church. We drove along the N70 to Kenmare and the scenery was spectacular.

Waterville is a quiet coastal town with good beachfront walks, nice restaurants and spectacular views. We ate in the Butlers arms hotel pub and had deliciously cooked fish and chips. Took a lovely seafront walk and stopped for a drink in the popular Lobster bar and restaurant where the food looked and smelled delicious, noted for next time. Waterville was ideal for a one night stay to get away from it all or as a quiet stop when touring the ring of Kerry.

Great property , very peaceful and remote , short drive to shops/beach /river . All facilities are provided , very comfortable. Only real gripe would be lack of choice /channels on TV , could do with having Netflix or something ( especially if you have children to keep entertained!! 😜) over all , very happy with the property and would happily stay there again .

We had an excellent stay at Kerry Lakesview Lodge. The property is tastefully decorated and is impeccably clean throughout. One feature we particularly appreciated was the lounge, which contains a wonderful collection of history books in both English and French. It created a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was outstanding. A truly wonderful B&B that we would highly recommend and would happily return to.

The location of this hotel is nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! The view of the ocean just outside our room looked like a painting. We were blown away. And access to the beach was right on site. The room was on the small side, but very cozy and beautifully decorated. The ocean views from the restaurant are to die for, and the food was absolute top tier!! The best we had on our 2 week trip travelling across Ireland. We only stayed one night. but we wished we had stayed for at least 2.
