We travelled on the roro ferry which allowed us to take our...
We travelled on the roro ferry which allowed us to take our car to Alibag. We went only for one night and day, and driving around upto Kashid. The food was excellent at the place we stayed. We found a couple of clean beaches, Varsoli and Thal. Thal is also specially quiet and nice, though small. The drive across Alibag and passing through the small villages was green and not too much traffic.

It' s a good place for beaches, food and of course enjoyment. But the major problem that the tourists will suffer is the transportation. No public transport is available. Autowalas ask for unreasonable amount of money.

The staff were highly trained in a human way, not just efficient. the dining staff, especially Swekcha, Elcy and a Bengali girl whose name i cannot remember who was exceptional. Also the room cleaners were very good and kind in our section.

Don't go to Alibag for the sea experience....it isn't that...
Don't go to Alibag for the sea experience....it isn't that great. Go to Alibag for the lovely food like places in Kasturi and if you like Maharashrian and Western food then go to Suju's cafe or Bohemian Blues. Alibag is very near to Mumbai and is great for a peaceful holiday, but not the sea experience.
The road to Alibag from Mumbai is quite bad near Alibag. You will enjoy it much more if you travel by the M2M ferries RORO. There are 3 services daily both ways....

It was an excellent stay..
It was an excellent stay.. Neville’s villa in Alibaug is a charming getaway. The pool is a definite highlight, perfect for a refreshing dip. The villa is well-maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. A wonderful option for a quiet retreat close to nature.

Alibaug is a beautiful coastal town that’s perfect for a quick escape from the city. Clean beaches, laid-back vibes, and great seafood — it has everything you need to unwind.
There’s a good mix of peaceful spots and fun activities — from relaxing at Alibaug Beach to exploring Kolaba Fort or taking a boat ride. The roads are improving, and there are plenty of homestays, cafes, and beach resorts to choose from.
It’s especially great for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking for a quiet break by the sea.
Must visit: Alibaug Beach at sunset, Varsoli Beach, Kolaba Fort, and local seafood joints.
Recommendation - Alibaug Castle Hotel in Nagaon is a budget AC room stay with good service.

Location is quite well suited for travelers who wish to explore and visit the nearby tourist attractions around Alibaug and Nagaon. Lunch was simply delicious and quite home like food was prepared with some fresh local fish delicacies. Host Mr. Akshay is friendly and guided us well on the plan for nearby visits. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

We had an amazing couple’s stay at this sea-view apartment in Kashid, Alibaug!
The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise. The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Beach access was super convenient, and the ambience made our stay so relaxing. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic and refreshing escape!..

The property is sweet and has a lavish vibe to it if we compare to the price we got it for. Would certainly love to recommend my friends and visit this Aqua Villa again. Shout out to the caretaker for always being there for our needs as we do not know anything about Alibaug and he provided us with food options as well as made tea & coffee for us.
