Our stay at Stay in Woods Cottages in Bogmalo was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The cottages are beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfectly located—close enough to the beach and main areas, yet tucked away in a calm, green setting that lets you fully relax. What really makes this place special is the owner, Joseph. His personal touch, genuine kindness, and constant willingness to help at any time set a very high standard for hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at home—always available with a smile, helpful suggestions, and prompt support whenever we needed anything. If you’re looking for a comfortable, serene stay in Goa with warm, heartfelt hospitality, Stay in Woods Cottages is an excellent choice. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to stay here again!

Everything was amazing. The accommodation was spacious and well presented. Everything was clean to a hight standard. The host was brilliant and helped us to enjoy our holiday to the full. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this accommodation for the above reasons and also it is close to the airport and located in the quiet part of Goa. The beach is only 2mins walk from accommodation. The beach is clean and quiet which was ideal for us. It also had plenty of nice restaurant nearby.

The best location in South Goa, right on the beach. The view from our room was breathtaking. The airport is only 10 minutes drive. The breakfast and buffet was particulsarly impressive. The staff was very friendly and helped us in every way including a transportation to the airport. I have been visiting Goa from USA for the past 20 years. I found this jem accidentally and fell in love with it. and plan to stay at this hotel every year. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Goa.

Excellent Ambiance, Specious Room, Special attention given on Hygiene, cleanliness, extremely courteous staff right from reception, restaurant manager and support staff, room service, Tasty food, Special mention for excellent service: Mr. Tongsin, Mr. Manish, Ms Jayanti and Mr Dipendu and all those worked hard in background to make our stay highly joyous and comfortable... We stayed in Room No 209 during 3rd week of Sep-23.

Every arrangement was best, rooms were neat & tidy, toilets were clean, A/C was working , nearly all the facilities in rooms were available in working condition. Bogmalo beach is hardly 50 mtrs away. One can sit in the verandah and enjoy the view of sea beach right from there. Restaurants are near by- hardly walking distance. Above all or one can say to add cream on cake, Proprietor Mr Henderson is very cordial, gentle and cooperative person. .Always available to help. He assisted us a lot during Indigo Airlines crisis of December 2025.

The tv/sitting room felt like a sweatbox even with the AC on full blast in the bedroom. Eating dinner in the restaurant was not an option as they closed it to their guests to hold a private function. Breakfast the following morning was dreadful :) Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Small beach with restaurants and a few shops. I liked that it was quiet, peaceful and not touristy. Felt very safe for a lone older female traveller. Probably not ideal for groups of young people who may prefer a livelier place. I loved it. Very close to the airport but the noise of the planes was not intrusive.

Lovely quiet place, loved that there was a post office on the doorstep and plenty of restaurants some doing delicious authentic goan dishes. I am limited to what I can say, as I only spent the weekend there, but I am returning so that should say it all.

Best stay - Bogomalo beach resort Best food - Joet's There is no other good option available. You can compromise a bit by staying at Mariaariose. Bogomalo beach is best and less crowded beach, where you can take your kids and spend quality time and there is also one watersports provider.

Excellent hospitality, clean rooms, and toilets.Facities provided are satisfactory. The location is very calm and peaceful. Very near to the bogmalo beach , hardly 75 to 100 mts. Mr Henderson, the proprietor, is a very humble, cordial, and cooperative person. He assisted us a lot during Indigo Airlines crisis of December 2025.
