The stay at Royal Plaza Inn was truly exceptional. The room was very comfortable and cozy, making it a relaxing experience throughout. I especially loved the facilities and the bathroom with the bathtub, a lovely touch that added to the comfort. The interiors are beautiful and the entire property is well maintained. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always helpful. The food was good and added to the overall pleasant stay.

The period we travelled was during the rains, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve had. The weather added a special charm to the place, making everything feel calm, refreshing, and memorable. We also got to enjoy the local cuisine, and although we are vegetarian, we initially thought it might be difficult to manage. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of options, and the food we had was both delicious and satisfying. Getting around Kozhikode is easy, thanks to the smooth roads and the lack of potholes, which made travelling comfortable throughout our stay. The people were also very warm and helpful, and we never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome. For solo travellers or families alike, this is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for peace of mind, quiet surroundings, and exceptional comfort rather than a typical hotel experience. We truly felt at home and would gladly return again.

What struck me most was the hospitality, friendliness and desire to help, right from the porter at the railway station to the Auto & Taxicab drivers to the staff at Raviz Hotel where I had the pleasure of staying to all the restuarants I visited. Delicious food, wide variety and above all the friendliness of local residents.

I am from kochi . I love Kozhikode .

I am from kochi . I love Kozhikode . Nice people , nice place and the auto rickshaw drivers are very polite and friendly. Compare to kochi much much much better. I noticed for the short trips they are always ready and put the fair meter always, you can’t imagine in kochin. We used autos for sweet street and beach trips .

Places worth vising to name a few are SM street, Mananchira square, Pazhassi Raja Archeological museum, stunning beaches for a glorious sun set view. Special mention to be made for auto rickshaws in Kozhikode. You can depend on them. Their charges are fair. There are absolutely no scammers.
