I had a truly wonderful stay at Resort Palmeiras Dourado and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place. What made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service, especially from the manager, Sunil. He was incredibly helpful and professional throughout my stay. Communication with him via WhatsApp was smooth and fast, and he kindly arranged both my transports from and to the airport, which made everything stress-free. I was also very impressed by his kindness and flexibility — even though my check-out was in the morning and my flight was in the evening, he allowed me to stay at the hotel and wait comfortably without any extra charge. This level of care is truly rare. On top of that, he even helped me exchange my remaining rupees back to euros at a much better rate than I would have received at the airport. All of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They even assisted me with fixing my broken suitcase, which I really appreciated. The food was another highlight of my stay — the chef is excellent, and I genuinely enjoyed every meal. Overall, this resort offers not only a beautiful place to stay, beach is ten minutes nice walk and the place is so quite and best for realaxing, what I really neede after my three weeks stay in Varanasi, but also a level of service that goes far beyond expectations. I would definitely love to come back again.

We stayed here for a few days after our wedding to relax, and it was the perfect getaway. The warm and cozy environment of Cansaulim made it an ideal spot for unwinding. The host, Lionel, was truly amazing. When Chris wasn’t feeling well upon our arrival, Lionel went above and beyond to help us with medicines and made sure we were comfortable. He’s such a kind and hospitable person, always ready with fantastic recommendations for local cuisine, restaurants, and fun events. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the cleanliness and hygiene are impeccable. There’s also a lovely common sitting area with a grapefruit tree adorned with lights, adding a magical touch to the property. The location is very convenient—just a short walk to Cansaulim circle, with easy access to shops and the beach. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I can’t recommend it enough. We’re already planning to visit again in the next few months!

The beach area is fantastic - empty of people and clean. Though there is therefore a lack of beach facilities (cafes, showers etc) to the north of the beach. But if you want tranquillity, it is perfect!

It is peaceful and less crowded and excellent for families. You have full one day reachability to North Goa while you enjoy the tranquility of this south Goa town. You also have plenty to see in south Goa as well.

Very nice located award winning family owned hotel (15 mins from Dabolim Airport) which is very well maintained and just a short walk from a nice sandy beach. Staff is extremely helpful and quality of food is very good. Rooms have balconies & all facilities are clean; you can do your own sightseeing on a rented (e-)bike. Recommended

Overall a very nice property for family holiday. We visited in rainy season,so we spent a full day inside the room and wanted to watch movies or tv entertainment.But the tv cable selection was third rate,no popular channels and no HD channels were available. The whole tv cable set up is old, needs complete revamp.

If you really like quite, peaceful beaches then this one is for you. There are couple of beaches along the stretch and one will enjoy early morning and evening walks on the beach. There are also some good shacks and water sports activity around
