Location of the property is excellent.
Location of the property is excellent. Clean and well maintained. Room service efficient. Food options and quality are good. Would strongly suggest a TIP BOX/ GRATUITY BOX at the main reception area and all guests should be encouraged to contribute ONLY IN THE BOX and no individual tipping.

We stayed in the Hotel Sonar Bangla and its facilities were...
We stayed in the Hotel Sonar Bangla and its facilities were good, the staff members were helpful and courteous, the view from our room and the food were excellent. The wi-fi service was, however, very weak inside the room and our decision to carry with us our own portable wi-fi unit from Airtel proved wise. The boat ride on the Ichamati should be a "must" for all visiting Taki-Hasnabad. From our discussions with the hotel staff, we understood that a visit to Taki to watch the immersion ceremony after the Durga Puja would be an experience worth the trouble!

The scenic beauty of the riverside was just amazing...
The scenic beauty of the riverside was just amazing specially during the sunrise and sunset. The restaurant food was very tasty and quite reasonable. Rooms are cosy but a bit unmaintained. Room service and staff behaviour was quite courteous and helpful. In short a great place for weekend stay.
