Eating and drinking while sitting up here offers a unique experience. It's the best view I've ever seen in Jodhpur. You can see everything from this viewpoint. I would definitely recommend you visit this place at least once. A wonderful view and a great stay!

Jodhpur is a beautiful historical city with a rich cultural heritage and many wonderful places to visit, including magnificent forts, palaces, and vibrant local markets. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's also an excellent education hub with several reputed schools, colleges, and institutions. The city offers a perfect blend of history, tradition, and modern development. Overall, Jodhpur is definitely worth visiting for anyone who loves heritage, culture, and a vibrant city atmosphere.

The city is best explored during winters or spring- summers are best avoided. Its very very hot.
Food is amazing, people are kind, views are great, shopping is fabulous.
We travelled using local transport- taxis, autos. While markets promise hustle bustle, some fine dines in the city close to the step well offer quiet, evening dining experiences.
Would love to visit again when the weather is conducive.

Jodhpur is a must visit city in Rajasthan.
Jodhpur is a must visit city in Rajasthan. It is called as BLUE city as major part of the city is painted blue on walls with very colorful pictures painted on wall. Meherangad for is very nice with nice collection of old artifacts. Visit to Clock tower and Sardar market is must for local shopping of clothes. One can get auto for moving around city as lanes are narrow. Umaid bhavan museum is worth visiting. Major part of Umaid bhavan is Taj hotel which covers 65% of palace where you can not go unless you are staying. Balance 35% is occupied by Royal family. Jaswant Thada is memorial of all past Maharanas. Mandor garden is nice garden with temple inside.

Jodhpur is a wonderful city with much to offer.
Jodhpur is a wonderful city with much to offer.
Stay in the old city, north of the Clock Tower, with its alleys to the west lined with indigo walls and decorative art - just fantastic. You can walk these by yourself, no guide required particularly, all the locals are so friendly.
I felt incredibly safe in this area, and alive, experiencing real life. There's lots of coffee shops and eateries - I thoroughly recommend Indigo at the Gouri Heritage Hotel (which I also recommend).

Jodhpur has its own unique charm.
Jodhpur has its own unique charm. The people here were incredibly helpful and welcoming. My stay at Moustache Jodhpur was excellent, and the staff were very supportive. Soniya and Ujwal were especially kind, they kept me company during my solo trip, which made the experience even more memorable. Lovely staff, lovely stay. See you soon, Jodhpur

Mehrangarh Fort was the overall highlight.
Mehrangarh Fort was the overall highlight. Jaswant Thaka also worth visiting. We would also recommend doing a Bishnoi Village tour to see a couple of more rural villages and their traditional crafts, as well as the countryside. Walking the blue city was fun to explore, but the bazaars are definitely a jostle with pedestrians and motorbikes.

The hotel is verry well located, walking distance to clock tower, fort, blue city, and all shops and restaurant. The room was super clean, quiet, with hot water and a confortable bed. Actually it's the best room we had in India ! The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to chill, enjoy the breathtaking view on the city and try their restaurant that is also afordable and good, with a variety of traditional indian dishes and international food. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommand to everyone to stay a Bawarri haveli !

Jhankar is absolutely brilliant - we were upgraded to lovely spacious rooms with one including a balcony overlooking Jodhpur Fort.
The best thing about the stay was the staff - particularly ‘handsome Viki’ who was incredibly accomodating, kind and knowldegeavle.
He took us on a tour of the blue city for 600 INR each and he was an incredible tour guide, giving a really good insight into Indian life and culture beyond just Jodhpur and going above and beyond to make sure we were happy

The best stay I had during my trip in India, the hotel is located in the old city which is very nice, the typical blue of the facade and the intricate architecture are a sight to behold ! Vikram and his team are really accommodating, you immediately feel at home there ! The rooftop restaurant is quite good and the view on the Fort is amazing ! I'll come back if I'll be in Jodhpur !
