They really tried to do their best. It is pretty good centrally located. The is a problem with electricity which is not their fault but I was not aware of it. Very noisy as no isolation. All those house boats r like 50 years old and they have that ol times charm but a bit away from civilization.

Location- facing the calmer and better side of dal lake. Room is spacious, bathroom is super clean. Staff is very helpful, go out of their way to serve you and ensure they make it a great experience for a guest. Felt very welcomed as a solo female traveler and very well taken care of .

I initially booked only one night but ended up extending my stay to five days. The houseboat is truly comfortable and homey. You get a living room and a bedroom with a private bathroom, complete with a bathtub and hot showers. Everything you need is provided. The staff were superb and took excellent care of me. I was treated like a king. They always made sure my room was warm enough, adjusted the meal menu to suit my preferences, and were ready to help with any request during my stay. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe on the houseboat. The management also offers trip packages if you want to explore the Kashmir area. Just tell them what you are looking for, and they will arrange an itinerary that fits you best. While it is not the cheapest option, it is definitely not expensive. It is absolutely worth the price, especially for a budget traveler like me. I personally took the trip package covering Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Kashmir in a safe way, as there are many scammers in the area. Special thanks to Adil for accompanying me while exploring Kashmir, to Choto and Rayaz for taking great care of me during my stay on the houseboat, and to Younis for ensuring that I was happy and had the best experience possible.

Strategically located away from the main stream dal lake. Great hospitality from the time we arrived till checkout. Personal attention to each and every step. We got a family in Faizan and his family. Keep up the great and lovely work.
