The rooms are small but impeccably clean. I had a pleasant one-night stay, and the location is fantastic for the price. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is neat, and the breakfast is enjoyable. A solid hotel without any grievances. Its prime location is definitely a plus. The staff was very accommodating, and the amenities were quite good. All in all, I had a positive experience.

Our stay at Karthakad Mane was truly one of the most memorable travel experiences we have had. Nestled amidst the breathtaking hills of Coorg, the property offers an incredible blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and warm hospitality. A special thanks to Bejoy, the Naturalist / Villa Manager who made our stay exceptionally enriching. He took us on a wonderful trek up the mountain, introducing us to the fascinating flora and fauna of the region. His knowledge, passion for nature, and patience made birdwatching enjoyable even for complete beginners like us. The experience gave us a deeper appreciation for the unique ecosystem surrounding Karthakad Mane. We would also like to thank Nithin and the entire team for their outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was attentive, courteous, and genuine. The culinary team deserves particular recognition. My wife has a coconut allergy, which can be challenging in South Indian cuisine. They carefully prepared delicious meals without coconut while ensuring that there was no compromise on taste or variety. The location itself is simply spectacular. Surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, and the sounds of nature, Karthakad Mane offers a rare opportunity to disconnect from the rush of everyday life and reconnect with the natural world. Thank you to the entire Karthakad Mane team for creating such a wonderful experience. We leave with beautiful memories and look forward to returning again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, nature-focused, and heartfelt Coorg experience.

From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, every aspect of our stay was handled with exceptional professionalism, warmth, and care. The service here is truly at its peak – far superior to many star-rated hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff are not only well-trained but genuinely committed to helping guests in any situation. What really stood out was the way the owner, Mr. Sham, went above and beyond to assist me during an unexpected and stressful situation. After a long journey, I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 PM, only to discover that my car tyre had gone flat. To make matters worse, I didn’t have a jack lever to replace it with the stepney tyre. I was completely unsure of what to do at that hour in a new town. But Mr. Sham stepped in like a true savior. With a calm and reassuring smile, he said: “Don’t worry, I am here to help you.” He immediately got on the phone and started calling tyre shops and local contacts, despite the late hour. He didn’t just make a few calls and leave — he personally stayed with me and ensured the issue was resolved. He even negotiated with the tyre shop guys to help me get the best possible price. Who does that? This is not just hospitality — this is humanity at its best. I truly believe it’s rare to find such genuine care and selfless service in today’s world. Mr. Sham and his team made me feel like family, not just a hotel guest. That kind of experience leaves a lasting impression, and I will never forget their kindness and support during that difficult moment. ✨ If you are ever visiting Madikeri, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Doha King Hotel.
