well it is well know hill station in the western maharashtra...

well it is well know hill station in the western maharashtra so it is always crowded if you travel on weekend hence we travelled on weekdays to avoid rush but there was still good amount of rush It was very hot during mid day however it cooled down by the evening and night

It is a good getaway location for people from Mumbai & Pune, wanting a short break. Avoid weekends, if possible, if you don't like crowds. Also, skip the summer months, as it becomes as warm as the plains. Nothing much to shop for except berries. There are hardly any classy restaurants. Better to travel as a group and stay in independent bungalows with in-house kitchen and indoor games.

My personal recommendation is to travel in the weekdays to avoid crowds and traffic as the state of roads are practically non drivable. In general Mahabaleshwar is always a nice getaway from the hustle of the city.

All is good except the the roads they are in a total mess and needs to be repaired & its right from Wai to Panchgani & Mahabaleshwar, will not go again till the roads are repaired and become driavble

It was a dry place compared to the other hill stations that...

It was a dry place compared to the other hill stations that I have been to, may be it should be visited during monsoon. Too much of traffic jams, we spent half of our time in traffic, roads are pathetically maintained. On top of it they charge municipal taxes, for the amenities they provide. The traffic was a harrowing experience.

Resort is location is very difficult to find specially if u are travelling in night. Facility is good but need more maintenance. Breakfast is not that Gr8 so not justifying with the amount paid. Overall good place to stay. Price can still be better or can be lower. May be off season price can be lower. Travelling to Mahabaleshwar market is approx 30 mins drive so again coming back to hotel at Night is really challenge. No lights on road

pleasant stay, we stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. staff was very cooperative, food they cook was delicious and they cook in very less time and tasty also price was reasonable as compare to other restaurants. location is beside the mahabaleshwar temple walking distance is only 5 minutes. there is electricity issue when we stay but maybe it was because of rain, but they given hot water for bath. overall good hotel.
