Every member of the staff bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. We arrived without safari tickets and the manager spent an afternoon calling around to see if he could secure a coveted last minute ticket. Success! Both in getting us an entrance ticket and a guide who knew how to find tigers.

We cannot say enough good things about these hosts and our experience here. Comfortable, very clean, safe, and extremely welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to add value to our stay, even on non-safari portions. We were impressed by the entire family, including the cats. The outdoor spaces for lounging and delicious meals add great value. This is the best "gate" to be at! We saw tigers each time and amazing bird talks with The Birdman of India! Do be sure to book safaris well in advance through only the government site or ask this homestay. They also directed us to kayaking on the small lake which was calm and safe and got us closer to many birds. The no-pressure but easy opportunity to engage with other guests enriched our experience as they were interesting, funny, and lovely people too. This was our #1 top experience in India due to the people at this homestay, even more than the excellent safaris with (a treat!) our "2025 guide of the year" host Shahanaz as the guide!
