We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious homestay in the stunning setting of Sumur Village. The owners were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The homemade dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and added to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place.

De Khama is a lovely family runned home and guesthouse. It’s in the most beautiful village with mountains in every direction. The sisters are so nice and welcoming and the parents are very kind and make delicious meals. We stayed here 3 nights and honestly wish we stayed even longer. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with views over the garden and mountains, and porch area is lovely to send time drinking tea and admiring the surroundings. We visited the local dunes, hot springs, monasteries and wandered around the quaint village, loved every bit of it.

Tsering la is such a kind, caring host. She was happy to sit and chat or give us our space. The meals were local Ladakhi food and everything was excellent. The room was even more spacious and comfortable than we had expected -- plenty of hot water, comfortable clean bed, and big sunny windows. Sumoor is just what we wanted in a village -- quiet, beautiful, and full of people just as lovely as Tsering la.

The whole experience was excellent. Gentle Madam Padma Wangmo and her staff took care of me like one of their family members. R Every part of the house was designed with nature by the talented artist, her husband. It was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The whole experience was elevated by the honest Ladakh fresh cuisine, where all the food came from their garden. I would highly recommend it to all my family and friends, as I look forward to returning.
