The trekking to chauragarh was ethereal. It feels as if you are among clouds. Beefalls is something that gives to much peace and joy and relax your mind. Jatashankar Mahadev under the rock is must visit as it enfolds many natural shapes carved by rocks ie; crocodile,fish, and lot more. Lot more sights are there to visit.... We ate at shivam restaurant behind pachmarhi hotel. Food was tasty and in reasonable price. For sight visit, gypsy are all around and hotels also provide details for gypsies and sights. In pachmarhi lake there are activities like boating and ziplining..

It is a beautiful Hill Station and best during December to February as it gets chilly. The people are good to assist and provide information about the surrounding. The location has many places for tourists to visit. We were unaware of the number of places and activities that can be taken there. The must visit place is the Jhatashankar Temple.

It is a quiet small town but with many options of tourist spots to choose from, I.e waterfalls, ancient temples, view points etc. Few good eating places around the town which can be easily found. Panchmari has lots of places to stay with variety of hotels to choose from. There are a lot of MP tourism hotels to stay at great locations.

Good place- temples, natural beauty, adventure sports. Beacutious about online hotel booking, our booked Hotel -Rajvihar denied to give room after accepting booking through Booking.com, taking advance 20 days before. Cheater hotel people may be there.

Pachmarhi is a small station with some scenic beauty spots. As it is at 1200 meters from sea level, it does not have the beauty of other famous hill stations. However it has very old Shiva temples at hillocks and at quite depths (150 or so steps down) it involves lot of walking and climbing which we could not do as all four of us were senior citizens. There is an installation of Army Education Corps which gives a clean look to the town.

It was for the 5th time that I was visiting Pachmarhi. But this time it was almost after 10 years and now with my wife and son. Earlier during my graduation, we had quite a few group excursions over here as well. Not much has changed in and around the place. It is still very serene and quiet. Pollution is very less, especially people moving from big cities will still like its calmness. There are many a nearby places to visit within Pachmarhi, and apart from that one can also visit Tamiya which is within 100km from that place. You may require 2 days in pachmarhi and one day more for Tamiya. The Maruti Gypsy services (rooster ones) are very good, and no extra charges are levied (have to prebook it from bison lodge). It's a treat to move in the Satpura jungles in a hoodless gypsy. The food joints have also modernized if compared to, our last visit around 10 years ago. There is a new restaurant named as BETA BAWARCHI, and it provides the best of the food (Pure VEG only at very reasonable rates), along with Bollywood singalong live stage performances. Only worry is the red monkeys, they attack from nowhere, but a good guide who will be accompanying you will make you aware of all those sites/locations. The Honey and other natural products like SHILAJEET are very famous from this place, but it is always advised to be procured from a licensed store rather than from any random shop. Overall, a good place to visit if you want a short relieve to the nature.
