Waterfall is very less at this time of year, December.

Waterfall is very less at this time of year, December. Weather is hot compared to Bangalore. The location of the waterfall is in a remote small village. There is nothing there - no markets, no malls, no fruits or groceries to buy. It is highly recommended to carry your own drinking water, fruits and snacks. There is only one standard hotel Mayura, with lodging & food options, near waterfall. But it is not up to the mark. Food is scarce in the location. No toilets near the waterfall. Day outing is perfect. If staying overnight, lot of planning is required. BR Hills, a few kms away, might be more enjoyable during winter months and a lot of choice able options for overnight stay.

Views of the two falls, Bharachukki and Gaganchukki are...

Views of the two falls, Bharachukki and Gaganchukki are wonderful though involve a bit of climbing up and down the stairs for a better view. There are no good restaurants within some 20-25 KM radius though some local restaurants are there.

This property and hotel is horrible and in the middle of...

This property and hotel is horrible and in the middle of nowhere. We had booked two rooms but the hotel reception denied the second room and said they could only see one booking on their system. They had charged the credit card though. We were squeezed on one room, making it high uncomfortable for senior citizens with us. Service was totally useless and we could get one extra bed after hours of fight. Staff is very un-cooperative. Food quality totally disgusting and room service totally disastrous. NOT RECOMMEND at all as this property if disastrous.

This place was much better previously prior to 2015.

This place was much better previously prior to 2015. With access to the waterside closed permanently and bathing disallowed, there's no fun at the place anymore. I can't find any reason to visit the place again.

the hotel is located close to bharachukki falls and madhya...

the hotel is located close to bharachukki falls and madhya ranga temple. the temple is going thru renovation so the main temple was closed at the time. it's little far from kollegal town and gaganachukki falls.

Staffs service was superb.

Staffs service was superb. The Room (delux) they provided was very bad. AC was not operating properly, Lot of insects coming to room as it is in ground floor.on next day they upgraded the room and was good. They have provided a TV, which is for show only. Not even the standard channels was subscribed. We come there for relaxation, no TV, no game room leave apart any other entertainment. Further there is no car shed or good Tree where we may park our car.
