Room was good, mattress and cushions were really really soft comfortable. Owner and staff was so good, their service was also really awesome. Even we had long conversations with owner too. He is very nice guy and gentlemen.

BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED IN TARIFF WHICH MAY BE A GOOD THING AS YOU CAN ENJOY THE FABULOUS FOOD CHURNED OUT BY THE EXCELLENT TEAM OF CHEFS HEADED BY MASTER CHEF ABDUL KARIM, AN EXPERIENCED CHEF. THE HOTEL GARDEN AND VIEW AROUND THE HOTEL IS AMAZING. THE ROOMS ARE SMALL, BUT PROBABLY KEEP YOU SNUG. HOUSEKEEPING WAS RESPONSIVE AND ATTENTIVE. THE BATHROOM WAS A PLEASURE TO USE !!!! YOU CAN WALK EASILY TO THE GLACIER SO DON'T GET CONNED BY HORSE GUIDES. TAXIS ARE AN ISSUE, THEY OVERCHARGE. A VISIT TO DRASS, KARGIL WAR MEMORIAL IS A MUST. TREK TO THE LOVELY LAKES. LOCATION IS WELL AWAY FROM THE MARKET AND MAIN ROAD, A SLIGHTLY LONG WALK IF YOU NEED TO GET TO THE TAXI STAND OR MARKET. THOUGH, GENERALLY THER ARE SOME TAXIS OR HORSES AROUND IF YOU GET LAZY.

Whether it was providing local insights or accommodating special requests, the staff’s respectful and courteous demeanor truly stood out. This property was right beside Sind River with the breathtaking view of Thajiwas Glacier Mountain from almost every room and the whole property. Food was too good. The view from the Balcony was mind-boggling. Could see Switzerland right in Indian at 1/3 of the cost. Very courteous people. Made us even more comfortable by providing a room-heater, without our asking.

Awesome place where everyone can fall in love with nature,...

Awesome place where everyone can fall in love with nature, mountains, snow and water. It's an assorted place. I Recommend other travellers to visit the Zero Point, Ghumri War Memorial. The must visit place in Sonamarg is Tajiwas Glacier and the lakes there surrounded by mountains where my recommendation is to Trek on your own with your partner / friends / family members. It gives you a best feel.
