We were so fortunate to discover Palazzo Tiglio! John is a wonderful host and the staff throughout our stay were very friendly, helpful and lovely to interact with. The hotel itself is an absolute gem in the tiny town of San Pancrazio. The hotel is known for its fine dining (the chef is amazing), but it was also very convenient for trips to Siena, Florence and Arezzo. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the service was really outstanding. Be sure to check out their tips for local sightseeing, wineries and other dining options.

It is a very quiet place, with amazing view. Located very close to Florence and Sienna. If someone wants to come down and have some break from towns, it is definitely a good choice . Also, people who work there are super nice. Definitely, we will come back!

The modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Thank you once again for your warm hospitality. Your apartment has been a highlight of our trip to Italy. We would love to stay here again if we return to the area in the future.

Loved the location in the tiny 12th century town of Ambra. The unit is small but newly renovated, modern and clean inside. It is in very close proximity to the main square where there is a cafe, laundry, fruit store, butcher and more! There is a market in the piazza every Tuesday and a summer festival party every Tuesday night in July. So much fun to party with the locals! Angela and Stefano are amazing hosts and we even got to meet them to say goodbye at the festival the night before we left.

Stayed a week with 15 people, including young children. There are enough room and separate bedrooms to accommodate 6 families. The yard is big and pretty and the pool area is great. The pool area is gated, which makes it safer for families with young children. The Ambra area is quite quiet, but closest shops and bigger villages are only a short drive away. Day trips to bigger cities are easy to make from here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can recommend!
