The value of our stay was great, the place has been recently renovated and is being well kept. Very close to the sea. Parking available on site. I found entry system with passcodes convenient. Breakfast was plentiful, should be noted it is self-service from what has been arranged in the fridge and kitchen by the owner. A very nice restaurant I would recommend a few minutes drive by car away - Al Rustico, we had a lovely sea food dinner there.

What an amazing, fortunate and unexpected find! Driving along the coast from Puglia to Calabria we weren’t impressed by much in the seaside towns we passed along the way. Booked the Convento from the car and from the moment we turned off the road towards the charming hillside town of Calopezzati we were enchanted. The property is stunning, with incredible views, large and well appointed rooms. A complete ruin, the convent was lovingly renovated by the family in the 1970’s as their private residence, but now opened to guests — staying there feels like you’re visiting friends, not staying in a hotel. Sitting in the garden over a sumptuous breakfast or having a delicious home-cooked dinner, we felt like we stepped into a movie of Italy during the dolce vita days. And you’re steps from the very charming and completely unspoilt village, where there is only one, luckily surprisingly good, restaurant. We loved it so much we stopped for a second night on our way home to Puglia. I’m telling all my friends. It’s the best!

Excellent location close to the sea thanks to an underpass and the historic center of the city of Crosia. Clean and quiet. The owners are great. We arrived in the evening and they were expecting us. We got a great restaurant recommendation.
