Check in was quick and easy, staff very pleasant and friendly. Location was easy to find and accommodations were stunning. Fairly new hotel and grounds well keep and very clean. Breakfast was included and offered a great selection. A visit to the Masseria Frattasi is a must if you stay here.

The Hotel Antiche Terme is a quiet, charming, smaller, well equipped hotel situated on the Calore River, with excellent views of the countryside while being central to the historic district. My room was very large, with ten-foot ceiings and brand new wood floors. My bed was the way I like it, firm with a little bit of cushion. My room had a desk, a minibar, and plenty of lighting. Smart TV. My balcony view was of the river and a beautiful bridge, the city and the countryside. If you like a great views, make sure you book it with the river view. The bathroom is very nice, with an awesome shower. Good wifi. Garbriele is an excellent host and manager, his staff did a wonderful job cleaning my room daily. He was very helpful with local information. Breakfast offers all the coffees and baked goods you can hope for. It is easy to walk all around the old section of Benevento from the hotel, as you are near all of the great sites. Benevento is a true gem, and the Hotel Antiche Terme is part of that, situated as it is on top of an ancient Roman bath complex. I will stay here again.

Antonio’s place is honestly “over the top”!!! He had roses on the bed… an incredible shower / jacuzzi tub and the place was just really comfortable!!! He asked us if we wanted a sweet or salty breakfast… we went for salt which had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and toast… and it was delicious 😋 Antonio was super nice and helpful. It was truly the hidden gem for a stopover point we needed.
