Breakfast was light and delicious, a typical Italian fair of pastries and espresso. Very good for the location/size of the town. Walking distance from fonte Dianna piazza and the 'main' areas. Supermarkets/touristy shops are close by if needed, and it's a good home base if your planning to explore the wider area. Super kind staff, just make sure you call and communicate alot with them. Knowing Italian and Google translate helps a bunch. It's a modern and unique stay in comiso, and with the larger sizes of rooms/uniqueness of each one, feels very modern compared to others in the area. There's folding sofas that can become beds too if really needed in our room. Don't go in expecting a Hilton, but go in expecting a VERY good hotel room considering price and location, fit my budget perfectly at the time. Price point was my main consideration along with the room size. The terrace is gorgeous, you have perfect views of comiso and the mountains behind, highly recommended during sunrise or sunset. Breakfast is served there or in your room but you need to request it. It's enough fuel for the day but still allows you to consume a fair amount of cannolis afterwards. I should also point out their 0/bottom floor suites are excellent for elderly guests that might not be able to climb stairs well, the stairs outside to the room are very roomy and should be ok for anyone with mobility issues, outside of being wheelchair bound.

Comiso has no public transport and Uber does not work here. The only way to get around is to get a taxi or rent a car. the town is a little old and run down but has its charm. Most places are closed in the afternoon 1-5. They open in the morning and evening. There is a lovely cafe called The Meet Cafe-the staff are super friendly and helpful. They heled us find our way around the town, would have arranged a transfer to airport to get a rental car and helped us with the language, amazing staff!. Disio is a fantastic restaurant in the town for some authentic sicilian food. Service was great too.

Casa Cristina saved us after our flight was redirected from Catania to Comiso. We arrived early hours of the morning and our lovely host collected us from the airport for a small fee and took us back to the apartment. Although our stay was short it was exactly what was needed - clean and comfortable. Thank you also to the travel advice given to us by the host to get a bus back to our original airport. Excellent supportive help in a country we were not familiar with! Highly recommend Casa Cristina

The room was extremely clean and beautiful, I felt like I was in a hotel! And a cute patio out the front of my room, and the shared patio out the back overlooking the olive groves were perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and morning. Friendly hosts, amazing value for money. And a beautiful breakfast set up just for me. Thank you, I wish I could have stayed more to relax in the peace and quiet further! And a great view of the sunset at the end of the street for a little walk.
