The location in the middle of nowhere (Kind of) was truly magnificent. The included breakfast was also nice. Not a huge choice, but for the price it was remarkable. .

We had a wonderful stay in Valganna, booked for one night then extended our stay. The big house is so inviting plus the restaurant serves a delicious shrimp and cherry risotto. The staff, the room, the garden cocktail, all contribute to a true Italian experience.

It is exquisite. Calm and restorative. The cuisine deserves Michelin stars. The staff is extraordinarily helpful even with limited common languages. Our communications were heartfelt. A gem in a tiny old former farming village. Beautiful hiking in the area. Minimal distractions but easy access to necessities within 30 minutes by postal bus free through Ticino pass offered by all hotels during stay. Has a swimming pool on the property and a swimming lake nearby.

We were upgraded to a superior room with a great balcony overlooking the lake. Excellent breakfast in a room again overlooking the lake. Nice touch that booking a participating hotel includes the local transit pass (Ticino) which gives free travel on the local train travel and discounts for things like the funicular to the San Salvatore summit.

Great value for money! The staff were very helpful and even upgraded for free our room to include a view of the lake. The hotel is in fact a hotel restaurant and you must try it cause it is very good. The breakfast was also good enough for a small extra fee. I totally recommend it for one or more nights stay.

Location is great, the apartment has all you need and the staff is very friendly. We recommend spending your night here.
