The staff was really nice and friendly. The hotel was much nicer that we expected. And the room was really exceptional with best view at the hotel to the lake. Also the restaurant was really good and e.g. deer was excellent.

Wonderful stay! Great views! Very close to Tres Cime and monte Piana! The Refugios behind the ski lift across the way! Quaint little town. Great restaurant next door with lovely staff! Cozy fire in the hotel each night! Awesome breakfast spread! 10/10 would return!!!!

Great location ! It was a short 20 minute drive to the hike at Tre Cime. I was worried after reading other reviews, but we had a fantastic stay. Our room was large and comfortable. There was a great breakfast spread. The staff was very nice ! It is a little expensive but it’s very VERY reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. We had a great stay and would choose this hotel again.

Property has so much character and charm and really feels like you are in the mountains in Italy. Quirky and unique which we love! We had a top floor room which was great size, we used the jacuzzi tub every night! Comfortable beds and bedding. Quiet. The breakfast buffet is over the top good. Food was delicious we never had to eat again until dinner.! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We didn’t want to leave!

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are...

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

Misurina is such a cute little gem on a lake. Perfectly located for those who want to hike from Rifugio Auronzo, or to gens like Sorapis or Federa (always leave early!). The place is small but so cosy - duringvthe coolers days, its a real cocoon. The window opens on a nice view of the mountains, forests, and horses if you are lucky. And to end your day, take a stroll around the lake - from the other side, you can enjoy an exceptional view of the sunset colours on the mountains, and reflection on the lake

This place is great! It was a beautifully renovated room. Breakfast was generous and delicious. One morning we left before breakfast and we let them know and the kitchen prepared a great pack breakfast for us the night before - with a couple of rolls, juice, egg and an orange. The location was easy to get to many of the hikes and activities in the area (Tre Cime, Lake Sorapis). It’s set on Lake Misurina which is a lovely setting. The hosts were kind and friendly and spoke English and Italian.

Beautiful location, close to the most popular hiking trails of the Dolomites, modern, clean and cosy chalet with very friendly staff and a generous breakfast basket. Several nice restaurants and small supermarkets in walking distance - try Malga Misurina farm restaurant in only 200 meters distance up on the hill, their entrecote steak is just marvellous!
