My wife, our baby, and I just returned from a week-long stay at this incredible agriturismo, and we're already dreaming of going back. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic views of rolling green hills and vineyards that look like something out of a painting. It is also a great base to explore amazing towns nearby and Florence. Our apartment was more like a charming small villa. It perfectly blended rustic Tuscan decor with all the modern amenities we needed. It was spotless and very comfortable. The pools were a highlight—the infinity pool with a view was stunning, and our baby had an amazing time splashing around in the kids' pool. What truly made this vacation unforgettable, however, was the hospitality. The owner, Nada, and her son went above and beyond for us. They were professional yet so warm and friendly, making us feel more like friends than guests. They arranged a baby crib and high chair for us, which was a huge help. Nada also provided fantastic recommendations for day trips and restaurants. The private cooking class she organized with Chef Cristina was a truly special experience we'll never forget. As a bonus, the agriturismo produces its own delicious wine and olive oil. We can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to return.

Spectacular place in the middle of Tuscan's countryside. The swimming pool is really big, which allows kids to play on one side and parents to realx on the other one. The rooms are big and they have the typical countryside charm. The only downside is that ventilation inside the rooms is kind of poor, as they have mosquito nets at every window, and it can get really hot sometimes. But of course, I wouldn't ruin the facade of these old and charming buildings with some ugly A/C ventilators....maybe in the future they'll find a reasonable solution , otherwise you can just spend the evening outside in the garden, listening at the sound of nature that surrounds you, while drinking a nice glass of Brunello...

The surrounding area is peaceful and charming, with Montaione nearby for essentials and easy access to San Gimignano, Pisa, and Florence. I truly enjoyed my experience and would happily return in the future.

This is a great starting point to other towns and cities in Tuscany. We went to Florence, Greve in Chianti, Lucca, San Gimignano, Volterra and Lari. Montaione is a great base and has some nice restaurants around as well.

Beautiful little town in the Tuscan hills ... beautiful, quiet and peaceful - yet not to far away from places like Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano or Volterra. Some very goods restaurants either in town or a couple of minutes away.

It’s so authentic not many tourists and the scenery is...

It’s so authentic not many tourists and the scenery is breathtaking. It’s a quiet area but so easy to get to all the sites within an hour tops from any direction, the roads are safe and easy access to the highway. The village has a supermarket, a handful of restaurants a couple of bars a quant square with cobbled paths.

The place is gorgeous with plenty of lovely scenery that enhance relaxation. The apartment is clean with all the necessary amenities. The people, Martina and AnnaMaria are extremely helpful and always ready to help when the need arises. Though quiet and surrounded by forests and mountains you are so close to places of interests Tuscany is renowned for. You can be in the hustle and bustle of busy cities like Florence and in an hours time near the pools busking in the sunshine. Great place.

Motaione lies perfectly in the heart of Tuscany with a small but really nice old town center. It's on top of a hill with a beautiful view all around. Unfortunately, if you go for hiking it's always very steep up or steep down - the same goes, if you rent a regular bicycle. But there is a really good mountain bike rental possibility: http://www.landhill.it/landhill-de/ in the center of Montaione. We paid 45E per E-bike and day. It's really worth to explore the region on the small roads by E-bike :-) There is a supermarked (COOP) in the center and a nice pastry shop.

We had a wonderful stay in Montaione, and a huge part of that was thanks to Laura, who was an absolutely amazing host. She was kind, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. From helpful local tips to making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, Laura went above and beyond. The property itself was beautiful and peaceful—perfect for enjoying the Tuscan countryside. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Tuscany!

The location was so perfect, deep in the rolling hills of beautiful Tuscany with views to die for. We loved being able to walk to the nearby village Montaione which is so picturesque. With 2 boys (9 & 11) we really enjoyed morning trips out to different sights and then spending the afternoon around the pool. It’s one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had! A special mention to Jill who was so helpful with great tips and suggestions for where to visit. Thank you so much ☺️
