Gaetano, the hotel owner was superb; he was waiting for us at the entrance, recomended and even booked a table for us for dinner in a local restaurant, the rooms were ample and very comfortable; the breakfast was really tasty and abundant; overall the facilites are new and clean; there is a very nice pool in the property. There is parking available for guests. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location, on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. Private beach accessible with shuttle. Just a 25 minute drive to Agrigento. The host Laura was extremely responsive via WhatsApp and made sure our stay was perfect!

We did not plan to go here, but it became the best stay out of 4 different accomodations during our Siciliy trip!!! Despite that, it was the least costly. The hotel is small and has a small number of rooms (5-6?), and the breakfast restaurant with it's fantastic terrace is just the right size. Breakfast was great! From the terrace you see the sunset next to the old Montechiaro fortress, with a great view over the Mediterranean sea and some pittoresque Sicilian fields. We brought a bottle of wine and a pizza from Palma di Montechiaro two nights in a row because we liked the quiet and relaxed (yet dignified) atmosphere at La Collina sul Mare much better than any restaurant we visited during our trip. It is a 20-minute walk to Baya delle Sirene, so we took the car and parked at the Montechiaro fortress and walked 10-15 minutes instead. It was super hot and relatively steep, but that beach has magical sands and a perfect natural cliff setting. I think there might be many tourist boats during high season, due to the beauty of the bay, but we came there during late September and were completely alone at the beach for 4 hours! Very little plastics and litter, just a fanstastic experience. In addition to the location and atmosphere of the hotel, the owner receives our "best-of-Siciliy"-review! He did not speak English, but compensated with a lot of Italian and a big smile :D He made us feel very comfortable and the questions we had were always answered in one way or another. Perhaps he is not always like this, but he shared a lot of positive energy during our stay!

Best value ever on Booking!!! Treated like royalty. Rosaria is the ultimate hostess. Her cake made with pear and apple is a masterpiece. The local bread, cheese and olive oil at the breakfast was outstanding. Room was immaculate clean and the interior is very beautiful and detailed. I would advice anyone to stay here while visiting Palma di Montechiaro or the surroundings. For example Punta Bianca, Castello Chiaromontano or Agrigento. Also Duomo in Palma is very beautiful both in the exterior and the interior.

This is a just renovated palace with very good taste and with big attention to the details. The room is big and the beds super comfortable, the bathroom is also huge and they provide you high luxury products from a brand called Ortigia (the smell is divine). Everything was spotless clean! This place has everything to became a luxury hotel as soon as they have staff and became fully operational.

Hotel dinner for an additional 45 euros is very good quality. Otherwise, the place has lots of potential but none of it is being realised currently. I imagine they get bookings as there arent many other hotels competing in the area. There aren't many great beaches nearby so that is perhaps why.

This was a great little one bedroom flat in the centre of Palma Di Montechiaro. Right next door to a small supermarket and a very short walk to cafes and restaurants. Free parking on the street nearby. Extremely reasonable rate charged.
