The villa is part of a social enterprise with the local Community. It sits in 10 hectares of beautiful grounds with wonderful old trees everywhere. The room was modern with a great king size bed and lovely linens. The bathroom was fresh and clean and smelt great. The shower was great pressure and spacious cf to many places we've stayed in Italy. It was very quiet and the host made a reservation for dinner for us at a lovely nearby forest restaurant.

You will need a car to reach Pettinengo.

You will need a car to reach Pettinengo. It is in the mountains so you would need to drive a bit out of town to get there. You also need to bring food and drinks because there aren't shops in the little town but many shops about 15 mins away. There are a couple of hikes and a park that we would visit if we had more time. We went to a lovely restaurant (La Forestiera di Banchette) a short walk away and had delicious pizzas.
