The hotel is on a hill above the town, a very short walk to be in the middle of things, but we had quiet and a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. We were thrilled by the spaciousness of our apartment. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the living room with the sofa bed felt like another bedroom. We made use of the full kitchen and often had dinner sitting on our terrace and watching the sunset. There was more than enough room for two of us to have our own space, this could also work for a family or sets of friends sharing space. We enjoyed visiting the little store and purchasing yummy local goods to bring home. We would stay here again with pleasure!

Great place.
Great place. We chose it for it's location, but were really impressed by the amenities - restaurants and shops in particular - which exceeded our expectations for such a small town. Will definitely look to stay there when we're back in the Dolomites.

We visited San Cassiano in July 2026 and absolutely loved this beautiful, peaceful village in the heart of the Dolomites. It's within easy walking distance of the Piz Sorega lift and just a short drive from several other lifts, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.
The mountain views are breathtaking, and we especially enjoyed the exceptional pizza and drinks at Bar La Vedla. We would happily return and highly recommend San Cassiano to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic stay in the Dolomites.

San Cassiano is a lovely small village near Passo Falzarego,...
San Cassiano is a lovely small village near Passo Falzarego, we were able to get to most parts of Dolomiti mountains by car very comfortably. In the village there is shop for food and sportwear and of course restaurants.

Clean hotel . Nice pool . Shuttle bus to ski lifts . Middle of nowhere .. no nice town . Drive too hard to get to cortina really . Got ripped off at this hotel as new year . Then they closed dinner off for us on New Year’s Eve unless we paid £190 euros each for a special meal. A bit money grabbing . But nice place . Wouldn’t reccomend for position if you want to have a nice town to visit nearby.

The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.
The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet.
The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico.
Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.

San Cassiano is a great place to stay in the Alta Badia area...
San Cassiano is a great place to stay in the Alta Badia area of the Dolomites. You are surrounded by the start of some great hiking trails and they are easy to access. It's a smaller village located closer to the Falzarego Pass and the Piz Sorega Cable Car. There are PLENTY of trails to find yourself on here. If you are staying at a local inn, make sure to try local ladin dishes and ask about the local dialect! You won't regret it. For solo female travelers the area is perfect, as I personally felt safe on the trails. Locals are friendly and you get some wonderful views of the surrounding dolomiti peaks.

The service was excellent. The staff made sure check-in was smooth and even contacted me in advance to confirm the details. They were very responsive and helpful throughout my stay.
The room was cleaned daily, and everything was spotless.
They also offer laundry and drying service at a symbolic price — just €6 per load (includes both washing and drying).
The location is perfect — only a 1-minute walk to the town center.
Free parking is available on-site, and smart access is provided for all hotel facilities.

Absolutely stunning hotel with exceptional service, it was truly faultless! We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived and felt looked after throughout our entire stay. From the welcome drinks to the incredible breakfast spread, every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented. We were even surprised with a special touch in celebration of our honeymoon, which made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend!

The apartment has a very good location. In the village there is a grocery shop, a bakery, the restaurants... in short, everything you need. In the same village there is also the gondola to Alta Badia.
The apartment itself is very nicely furnished, comfortable (maybe a little too soft yoga mat), clean, there is a ski room in the house and there is plenty of parking spots. The hosts are very helpful and approachable. In short, I highly recommend it!

Location. Room was clean fairly big fresh towels every day to use the sauna. Bath staff I think there was only three people working at the whole hotel and they all seem to be there all the time so well done.
