Albergo Riva exceeded our expectations. Was the most beautiful place for our last night in Italy. Staff were amazing, the room beautiful and the view from the balcony was incredible, Wow. Beautiful location right on the lake. Lovely sitting downstairs having a evening drink.

Great hospitality, arrived late was offered great italian food even, prices are fair and everything was wonderful. Definitely recommend it. Best Pizza in the area!

Staff were so kind, breakfast was amazing and the room was very comfortable. The location was a bit far from major towns and sights but definitely worth the price.

Perfect location by the lake with amazing views from the balcony. The town of Cerro is perfectly walkable from this spot and livelier than most of the crowded touristy places around the lake. Very attentive staff and super accommodating kitchen who prepared a vegan breakfast for me.

Great reception, good location, excellent service

It was very central, with easy and free parking nearby, shops, restaurants, a grocery store and the ferry within a stone's throw. Late check-in was no problem since they have a very popular restaurant downstairs open until late. It also had a good bakery breakfast and coffee.

Wonderful view from balcony right over the water. Snow capped mountains in the distance and beautiful lake view. It's a 12 minute walk from the train station which is right next to the ferry dock. Easy to take the ferry to the Borromeo Islands. The indoor heated pool was spectacular. With great views of the lake. The water temperature was 84°F and very pleasant.

Everything! location, atmosphere,facilities, cleanliness and very friendly staff especially ( Claudio the restaurant manager and his team and Massimo in the reception)

The couple that runs the relais were wonderful. They were friendly and spoke several languages. They provided great recommendations, wonderful simple food, and a warm welcome. They remained friendly and efficient even when things got busy. They are a classy pair. The accommodations were fabulous and the grounds quite lovely with a wonderful view of the lake. The surroundings were very quiet. They even had EV charging!

Excellent staff behaviour and location and breakfast

Our apartment was amazing and exceeded all expectations. The balcony stretched across the front of our apartment and had incredible views over the lake and to the mountains. The apartment itself was spacious and all amenities provided, along with a kitchen hidden behind cupboard doors. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the €5 Italian breakfast was satisfying and delicious. We absolutely loved our stay.

Gorgeous hotel, stunning location on the lake, my room had a balcony which I used everyday, roof deck was great for breakfast and aperitivo. But the highlight was the service - very charming and attentive and helpful hospitality from the owners and all of their staff.

It was super cozy and had great amenities!

Location was close to heart of beautiful Stresa. Host, Fredrico was very gracious and helpful with local information, including guidance to see local travel agency to plan for last minute train ride changes needed to make connections timely to Milan; this because of repair work being done on train lines. The morning breakfast was fabulous.
