OmanThe room was always nice and warm, spacious and had a balcony. Daily cleaning services was a bonus, thank you!
The hotel was very helpful with arranging a shuttle to the lifts, information on bus stops etc and most of all the family owned business allowed us a private ski instructor Matteo.
Thanks Matteo for all the help as this was our first ski trip and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it! You helped us immensely and we were able to do a blue run or two, which I personally thought would only happen on our next trip.

Fantastic small cosy town with history.
Fantastic small cosy town with history. A great small catholic church, small fountains, classic restaurants and a market square with after ski. Add to it the feeling of a small italian village and not built for the tourists. Maybe the grocey shops could provide more possibilities but it wa quite ok. There is an open market where local groceries can be bought and there are also a wine-shop local, where plenty of Piemonte wines can be acquired. For a skitrip to Vialattea, I would argue that Sauze d'Oulx with its colloquial perspective provides more than the other skiresorts, shich are more touristic.

As a Ski destination I would not recommend this resort.
As a Ski destination I would not recommend this resort. The lifts are antiquated and there appears to be no investment to improve the ski experience. There are only chair lifts from the resort and consequently the queues can be long, particularly on the central Sportina lift. You need to take 2 chair lifts to reach an area that allows fanning out onto multiple pistes. The queue for the 2nd Sportina chair lift is quite ridiculous, particularly at weekends. Forget ski in/ski out as it is not an option.

Sauze D'oulx is a great place.
Sauze D'oulx is a great place. Great ski runs , Great atmosphere in town for apres ski. Not really suitable for beginners . Everyone we dealt with was very nice and friendly. There is a good bus service to bring you to the ski lifts, Clotes and Sportinia anyway.

This is the sixth time I have stayed at this resort, the town has a great mix of old and modern apre bars/cafes & restaurants with only a short (but fairly steep) walk the Clotes ski lift, the pistes are mainly red and great if you want to "cruise" rather than "charge" down the mountain, also plenty of bars & restaurants on the mountain for the occasional pit stop! Only downside is the last run back to the town which during warm weather is chopped up slush by 3.30, it must scare the living daylights out of first time skiers! However, it takes but a minute to ski out of the whole day!

Plenty of restaurants and bars, many family run and same staff for many seasons. Some hotels have minibus service to slopes, a new thing for Relais but great service.

Lovely traditional village with a few lively bars. Great access to Milky Way ski area and excellent value for money. Short transfer time from Turin airport. Pizza bar in village centre served tasty pizza slices and great price, always friendly staff there! Had a lovely meal at L'Ortiché, more expensive, but superb fine dining with good wine.

Clean but a little dated. Blankets and cover on the bed. I’m not a fan.

The third time staying at this hotel on route from Central Italy back to Paris. Always a good stay. The rooms are clean - we didn't get the big room we always get. But this one had a balcony so that was a bonus. Breakfast is good.

Location is excellent for Clotes lift and my room was very clean, big and very comfortable.
Bar in hotel is lively some nights which is great.
