You have everything you would need close to the Hotel Marzia like bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants. You also have parking spots if you’re driving a car. With cheap tickets that you can purchase in a nearby store, you can go to the historical center of Florence, spend the whole day walking as a tourist, come back at night and have a good sleep in a very clean and cozy room. I glimpsed the town as I was driven to the bus station. It's spectacularly clean and orderly. I mean that in an almost filmic way, like a movie set of a town that's spectacularly clean and orderly. Not a leaf out of place or cigarette butt in sight.

Scandicci itself is a safe and quiet neighborhood, although it doesn’t offer many tourist activities. For nightlife, dining, and sightseeing, you’ll need to head into Florence, which is easy to reach by tram.

the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence,...

the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence, adjoining a national park. Birds all around - very peaceful. very nice staff and lovely croissants and coffee for breakfast Shared pool and hot tub, but not an issue for us as it was almost empty. Access to Florence okay, but you need a car. Drive to scandicci for a tram probably best (we drove all th way in with a wheelchair)

Very nice accommodation near Florence. We stayed with our family + our dog and liked it a lot! The staff is very friendly and helpful - the swimming pool and the garden with the animals are absolutely lovely. You can buy some great and tasty regional products there like honey, wine, jam etc. Everything was clean and we did not miss anything. Great place to relax. Breakfast was amazing! We loved our stay and will definitely come again! :-)

We wanted to stay on our way to Rome. While the Hotel is a little bit outside, it offered all we needed. A comfortable parking place, well equipped room. We found a nice place to eat in the area. It is not a tourist area. When we visited the center of Florence, we used the car which was not a problem. However, there would also be public transport. The people at the reception were very friendly and provided good advice.

Great appartment with free parking. It is just a 5min walk to the train station, that goes directly to the center of Florence. Dario is nice and helpful. We really recommend this stay.
