This is a charming little hotel located in a truly picturesque setting. The owners were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh and high-quality products. As for dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, it was probably the best meal I had during my trip to Italy. The food was authentic, generous, and absolutely outstanding in both taste and presentation. Everything about this place reflects genuine Italian hospitality and warmth. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made the experience even more special.

Breakfast had great options, a gorgeous view from the breakfast terrace, the staff was so nice and helpful and the property was soooo beautiful to walk around. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable.

Great location Nd excellent facilities

Quaint little resort, 20 minutes south of Tropea that has everything going for it. Beautiful setting, pool is updated and stylish, rooms are comfortable, and location to private beach with restaurant at the bottom of the hill was outstanding. Fresh seafood, cooked very perfectly. Beautiful blue waters for snorkeling with less crowds than the city. The thing the stands out is their wonderful staff. Very accomodating, super friendly and helpful. It was a fantastic stay!

The beach was wonderful get location. The manager Antonella at the front desk was professional and very attentive.

Staff was extremely helpful w pickup from train station and helping me get an e-bike. I didn’t have euros to pay so staff covered me until I got to the bank. The bar and pool area was amazing. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Europe. Fresh juice etc. homemade omelets etc.

Il Borghetto was a perfect choice for visiting Tropea. Only a few kilometers out of Tropea town (and a hotel shuttle can drop you in town and pick you up for a nominal charge, saving the need for a taxi - which are a rarity in Tropea) the hotel had beautiful grounds and a wonderful pool that was large and ultra clean. A small bar beside the pool could provide snacks and drinks, and there are plenty of umbrellas available to sit under. One of the best things about Il Borghetto is the staff, with Eleanore, Frederika, Manuel, Massimo and so many others making you really feel like part of the family. The hotel picked us up from the train station and dropped us off again when our stay was over. The fresh breakfast in the morning was something you looked forward to the day before . Tasty and homemade food was a delight. I would stay again without hesitation. We even arranged a massage at the hotel for my wife and I and Vera. the masseuse was an expert at her job! All in all a wonderful Tropean stay.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by the front desk staff, which immediately made us feel comfortable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshing and delicious welcome drinks, and we received all the information and guidance we needed for our stay. The room we received was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the sea at sunset. This hotel provides everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The breakfast was excellent — one of the best we’ve had in hotels across Italy — offering a wide variety of tasty options to suit all tastes. Although the hotel is located slightly outside the city and away from the beach, this was more than compensated for by the convenient free shuttle service. The shuttle regularly runs between the hotel and the railway station, as well as to and from the beach, making it very easy to get around. Overall, we had a great experience and we definitely recommend this hotel to others. We ourselves will surely return in the future.
