What a gem! We are so sad we only had 1 night here. This is the most incredible bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at! Truly a 10/10 experience. The property is absolutely magical! They have thermal pools which you can use privately, they welcome you with a complimentary beverage, and the rooms (apartments) feel like you are staying back in time! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home - they are seriously so kind! Do yourself a favor and stay here. We will be back!

I liked everything, the breakfast, the room, the environment. The staff were fantastic and very polite. The clean in the room is fantastic. The restaurant is amazing and they have a lot of options and you will not regret if you take one night to have dinner there.

It was just a lovely place and not over crowded.

It was just a lovely place and not over crowded. The architecture was amazing and we wish we had more time to explore. The thing we did not like was the wait for the bus at Villla Adriana as we all sat for about 2 hours.

I strongly suggest visiting Villa d'Este (preferably in the afternoon) and Villa Gregoriana (but be prepared for a _lot_ of stairs). Historical center is a nice location there are many restaurants and small shops there. However you'll need to walk there as it's a ZTL. I can recommend Sibilla restaurant (really nice dinner we had there, but you need to reserve a table as it's unlikely you could just come and have a spot, they are pretty packed) and "Donkeys" restaurant (they also have a bar but haven't been there). There is a nice beer pub "Black Sheep". For kids there is not that much to do except be educated about old temples and villas by their boring parents. But there are few nice gelaterias and shops with presents that can make up for that. Also be aware that in the beginning of August some shops and restaurants there are closed for a week or two.

Tivoli is a wonderful escape from a crowded Rome in...

Tivoli is a wonderful escape from a crowded Rome in midsummer. Villa D'Este and Villa Adriana are must-sees, IMO, and real hidden gems. Most people will do a day trip, but it is really worthwhile staying one or two nights so you can take your time there, and they have great restaurants with lovely Roman/Lazio cuisine.

Tons of great restaurants to choose from, you really can't go wrong. From kebabs and burgers to Michelin restaurants. The villas were great to visit, but I would NOT recommend in the heat of summer--maybe late Spring or in the Fall would be best.

Tivoli is an exceptional place.

Tivoli is an exceptional place. Exceedingly more enjoyable than Rome. Our entire family agreed: next time, we'll skip Rome, and just stay in Tivoli the whole time. Villa Gregoriana was everyone's favorite; my nine year old calling it the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. The food and the desert amazing. I would skip Ristorante La Sibilla—not worth it. But La Fornarina was excellent.

I was really impressed with the food, the close proximity of everything, and the villa, which costs €15 for a 2-hour visit, but is absolutely worth seeing. It offers an amazing view over a vast part of Italy and is truly spectacular.

This is a beautiful clean property with great attention to detail throughout. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Great location for visiting attractions in tivoli. Breakfast of coffee and lovely croissants in restaurants next door. Lorenzo is a lovely young man, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and site seeing trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to tivoli.

The owner was there to greet us and showed the house around. The location is in the old town centre and very close to Villa d'este. Amazing location and a very unique home. Internet was good and got the kids occupied when we come home from our daily trips. Tivoli was our base when we stayed in Italy. We travelled by train to Rome and speed train to Venice. Simply love it!
