The cleanliness, amenities, staff

Loved the location and the ease to get in. There was a small hiking path from the carpark that took you around the castle, great for a morning walk. The breakfast was excellent and the staff at breakfast very nice. I stopped here on my way to Venice from Munich so the distance between the two was perfect. Would stay here again.. There was plenty of parking and in the morning the cleaning staff were also friendly and efficient.

Beautiful hotel,it has the feeling of 4stars. Immaculately clean, bathroom is luxurious,bed super comfy and lovely balcony. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a great restaurant and a separate cafe bar with excellent beers. Location is perfect only a few metres walk into the stunning centre of vipiteno.

The room is big and warm, the location is nice

It was clean. Rooms were an ok size, not the biggest, but not Europe small either.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It felt so warm and homey from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless and comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. And the dinner—wow! It was truly exceptional, far beyond my expectations. Every evening I found myself looking forward to the next meal because the food was consistently delicious. A wonderful experience overall!

What a charming hotel in a charming town! Our room was huge and nicely appointed, very comfortable. Lots of creations, all very fresh. And great location.

Great location, wonderful staff, charming city

This is such a great facility! The staff is super friendly, the location is fantastic and the amenities are great... plus they are very dog friendly! We stayed one night during the Christmas markets and although there were a lot of people we could not heat any noise. The hotel has a sauna and a 24hr coffee/tea area upstairs next to the panoramic terrace (Terrific views). The breakfast was superb, with eggs cooked to order and many local meats and cheeses.

The owners - now 5th generation - are wonderful, multi-lingual hosts. "Mom and Dad" cook excellent meals - actually, "Mom" is a jack - of-all-trades - and there's a 4-course meal with a choice of two appetizers and two entrees each evening, or you can opt to eat out, which would be a rather bad choice on your part. The salad and vegetable buffet is clean, fresh and most ample. A good choice of oils and vinegars is available. Breakfast buffet: mountain climbers will not leave hungry! Hit tip: Mom's cooked-to-order scrambled eggs are delicious! Our room was squeaky-clean and comfortable. The small refrigerator was effective enough to cool liquids. Our test with a (sealed) half a can of dog food for our 4-legged friend proved it was unfortunately not suitable to chill her food. We had a "Plan B". Hotel Maibad is located across the street from the Rosshopf - Monte Cavallo cable car. The visitor's card supplied by the hotel gets you a discount there. Also located across the road are a bakery and a fair-sized store that sells soft drinks and beer, as well as a large selection of wine and spirits. We would love to return to Hotel Maibad again next year. That's the best recommendation!

EVERYTHING was outstanding. Especially the food. Very friendly staff, pristine and beautiful location, and the hotel is perfect for families with children. Wonderful pool and playroom! My new favorite hotel. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Dinner was a gourmet meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There were several different communal areas to choose from for eating or gathering with friends. The bar offered top shelf items.

Beautiful hotel managed by a positive and energetic owner. The hotel has a great story and it has several wellness areas. Great vibe and also the food is good.

This hotel remains the best for me in the area, second year in a row we are here. Rooms are renovated, staff is super hospitable, breakfasts are great, but as always cherry on the top is dinner, so half board is a must here. Chef is amazing and surprises you with amazing dishes every day. Great location, a lot of interesting places around.
