The room and bathroom were modern. The breakfast was very good.

The room was large, in the center of town. The bed was comfortable.

I loved my little one man room. Immaculately clean, well maintained, silent and with a view of trees. It looked like the Vincent Van Gogh room, from the famous painting and I was immediately charmed by it. My stay here was excellent. I had to recuperate from a 6 day intensive bike ride and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to be. They also have a restaurant, and it’s “fine cuisine Italian cuisine”. I recommend eating here. I decided to stay a second day and also visit the abbey nearby. The owners are so sweet, gentle and helpful. In fact I think they are angels. Very grateful to have found this place. It felt like a gift!

What didn't I like?? Everything about the property and its amenities were stellar. The lounge chairs all over the property made it almost feel like you had the views and the place all to yourself. The pool was clean and very big. The cave spas were incredible. They were so relaxing after many days of traveling and sight seeing.

Don't forget to watch the sunrise at the place. It's fantastic!

Amazing stay at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. Great location, great service and awesome views. The hosts, Elise and Eleonora were so gracious and so welcoming. Highly recommend.
