The rooms were very comfortable. the price of the rooms was very reasonable for the location. It was within a 2-minute walk of the castle and 5 minute walk to the main shopping streets. The wasabi farm is only 25 minutes away. It was perfect!

Amazing room and value for money - well located ; short walk to the castle. The staff were friendly and they provided evening supper of Ramen which was excellent .

A hotel with great service and a premium feel right next to the station, for a reasonable price. The staff was very polite and spoke good English. The room with three beds was very spacious for Japanese standards. There was a mirror and a sink in the room, in addition to the standard bathroom, which was quite useful.

Just in front of the Matsumoto station. Staff is very welcoming. Good value/money. Would stay again.

Location is excellent, you can walk from and to the train station in 10 minutes. Another big plus is that the hotel has a laundry room on 2 floors, and you can use the tv in your room to check the status of each washing machine. That includes when you have put your laundry in, the tv in your room will show the remaining time of your wash. Very practical, I wish all hotels had this. The bed is firm and comfortable. I had a room on a high floor with an excellent view of the city and the mountains on the horizon. And the room is very clean! The reception is on the second floor, so once you are checked in you don't have to deal with them again until check-out. You can just take the elevator from the ground floor to your room and vice versa without passing reception. I didn't take the breakfast option so I can't comment on that, but from what I say it's basically a Gusto establishment, which I do have some experience with, and it's as good as what you can expect for breakfast in Japan.
