This is a wonderfull Little guesthouse, in a scenic location not too far from the train station. It is a bit of a walk on foot but easily accessible by taxi and the way to nearby Koyasan is very convenient by train. The owner is amazing as are the views and the guesthouse itself. I highly recommend it.

Our host was friendly and accommodating! The food was excellent. We loved the huge bath with a view of the mountains and the sound of the rushing creek just outside the bedroom window. It was so relaxing and peaceful, especially after the bustle of Kyoto. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved the feeling of local life, village life, humble and quaint. It’s right in the heart of the Kii region only about 15 min from Koyasan in a car. Don’t try to bike from Koyasan unless you’re fully prepared to cycle uphill the entire way. It’s a cute little property but the highlight was the owner. She is so nice and helpful! If her schedule permits she’ll guide you around the region. Her cooking is absolutely amazing as well!
