I loved the location. Everything was within walking distance (Train station, restaurants, transportation, etc.) The facilities were very clean and nicely appointed. Even with the language barrier, the staff was helpful and responsive. I am reluctant to say more because I know that will mean next time I want to book this location it will probably be sold out! But, I must tell the truth, I LOVED IT and you would too. (I guess I will just have to book in advance to return here.)

Staff: I really appreciated the staff here. I must admit, I had a bit of a surprise when the check-in counter dialled into a real person on the video, its very interesting to see the cost-saving/frictionless operations systems that big companies are doing. More than often though with myself or with other guests would defer to a staff member onsite, for newer guests like myself this is inevitable but I can understand regular guests will appreciate the contactless check in process. Personally I really loved the staff member that was on duty that night. Very warm, welcoming, also helped me create a membership card - overall made me feel fully supported and welcomed. My only regret was not taking note of his name so I can make a special mention to him here. Access: Location was also perfect, it was raining and teh following day was forecast snow. I was able to get delicious dinner easily from the takashimaya/take away shops 2 seconds from the elevator as it connects directly to the department store and station. Amenities + services: I really appreciated that there were different types of tea in additional to the regular amenities of shower towel, cotton pads etc. I also liked that in the room you could see which laundry machines were occupied or free. Room: I really liked teh room design - great view of the train + crossings which was pleasing to see even though Tachikawa isn't exactly a huge attraction. I really liked the quality of slippers, and the design of the bed and lighting which was comfortable to sleep on and lie down as well. I also really loved the size and design of the desk which was just right and perfect to work from.

The location was great, we were able to easily access the station, and there were some good restaurants close to the hotel.The breakfast was super and the staff was very friendly.

It is a wonderful community that has grown used to being...

It is a wonderful community that has grown used to being next to and American Air Base. The people are very kind and friendly. Please be respectful of the community and learn some of the local customs. The train station opens up much of the surrounding area to you. Downtown Tokyo is just a train ride away and so are other smaller communities.
