Location! The hotel is at Machida Station of Odakyu Line (about 30 min from Shinjuku); almost a midpoint to the mountain area (Hakone - Odawara for hot spring spots!). Machida Station is also linked to JR Yokohama Line, which facilitates your trip to Yokohama area (about 20-30 min from Machida); JR Yokohama line is located right next to the hotel. The passage from Machida Station (Odakyu Line) to the hotel offers a nice walk; there are a lot of Izakayas, restaurants, cafes, shops, supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. Never get bored! The hotel is next to a big supermarket (Daiei - open till 1am!) and a laundromat (coin laundry - コインランドリーデポ原町田店) is within 5 min walk; no detergent is required and coin exchange machine is equipped. Incredibly clean. This laundromat was suggested by the hotel and excellent advice. This was my 4th(?) time to use this hotel. Never disappointed. Resourceful staffs. Clean rooms. Convenient location.
