Yuki San was an amazing host that really made us feel welcomed. Her place is super clean and offers a great common area for hanging out with other and chatting with other guests. The futons in the tatami room were thick and comfortable. 15-20 minute walk from the train station with restaurants and Family Mart along the way. Super quiet, small town setting.

The service is top notch, super kind lady who gave us a tour and recommended some great local spots for food and things to do up north in Nara. Really nice hostel for a great price. I'm writing this review from an awesome hammock in the common area, highly recommend.

We liked everything about this hotel. These were the most quiet, restful 6 nights we had after a month in other parts of Japan. Perfect beds and pillows, quiet air filter, large room for the price, quiet neighbors, great breakfast, next to the station. Other hotels could take lessons from this place! Very helpful, cheerful, accommodating staff. What a bargain in the perfect location to visit many wonderful sites like Hasedera!
