Increíble experience. The staff was so incredibly welcoming and sweet. I speak approximately 10 words of Japanese and we did fine. Solo traveler. Stayed two nights. Pick up from the train station was seamless.

The location is perfect, direct access to the lake. You’d really enjoy your breakfast and dinner with a wonderful view. Attentive and helpful staff at reception, breakfast and dinner. Also appreciated the coffee and tea service at the lounge. Onsen is amazing, open air looking into the foliage garden. During my two nights stay, one night I enjoyed onsen with snow and the second night with clear starry sky. I did not know the day after our departure, the hotel will be closed for the winter season. Would love to return again at this peaceful place with an outstanding service.
