Personalised efforts made by staff and management in going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Good location for pre and post safari at Masai Mara. Mara Hilltop becomes ideal for digital nomads who relish working with high speed internet amidst nature. Hadn't expected to find a pizza cooked in wood fired oven at such a venue. Meals are amazing, the highlight being the pizza & mishkaki night. was impressed with the variety as well. Safari on a motorbike is an adventure to be tried in my next visit. ⁠You definitely need one additional day to relax and some interesting activities that they have (I recommend the hike, worth it)

I can’t say enough great things about this camp. The tents are perfect, the beds super comfy, giraffes walking by your tent! The staff were all so friendly and attentive. Thank you to Felix, Nelson, chef Nelson and above all Allan - who took us on two incredible game drives. I can’t say enough about how amazing Allan was. His knowledge of the Maasai Mara park, the animals, and his adventurous guiding ensured we saw everything!!!!!

Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

The staff was very welcoming, Leonard came to meet us by the main road to guide us to the guesthouse, John took us on a hike to the hill top so we could take in the Maasai Mara scenery. Edwin and Joy prepared dinner, and packed breakfast and lunch for us for the game drive. Beautiful campfire after dinner and the sound of animals in nature made it all worth it. Then the highlight of the trip was the game drive with James.

Place is good positioned, has a great staff and it is well organized. We organized a tour with them, it was the best offer we got. It was an old but reliable land cruiser, Elija was with us both days plus the guide/driver. We saw all the big 5 plus a lot more of course.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Safari Experience! We had an unforgettable stay at Sunshine Maasai Mara Safari Camp. John is the best guide we have ever met. During our 3-day safari, we saw all of the Big Five, and his knowledge of the wildlife and the area was excellent. The bush lunch was fantastic, and John always positioned the vehicle close to the animals, giving us incredible views and great photo opportunities. The accommodation was amazing, the food was delicious, and all the staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The only word for this property is EXCEPTIONAL. We had a wonderful stay here. Staff was super courteous and very nice. Afric the chef is the sweetest and most humble guy who makes big portions of wonderful meals which you can never finish. He makes sure that everyone is well fed. Out game driver Rolex is the sweetest, kind, intelligence, humorous and very sharp guy. He had immense knowledge about safari and animals and he made sure that we don’t miss leopard, lion and cheetah. Host Jazeera is very kind and always available
