The location truly was paradise. Saw monkeys, chipmunks, the idyllic beaches, gorgeous sunsets from the pool and stunning skies. Food was fabulous, staff were exceptional and couldn’t be more accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Paradiso and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Unawatuna area. The hotel is situated on a hill, about a 10-minute walk in either direction to Unawatuna Beach or Jungle Beach. While the hill may seem a bit daunting at first, it is absolutely manageable - even with two children - and we quickly got used to it. The location is actually a big plus, as it’s set away from the noisy shops and restaurant area, making it peaceful and relaxing, while still close enough for a pleasant walk whenever you want to head out. Ransi and everyone who runs the hotel were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always greeting us with smiles and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. The pool was wonderful, a perfect spot to cool off and relax. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared and a great start to the day. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of space to unwind. Overall, Hotel Paradiso offers a great balance of tranquility, comfort, and warm hospitality in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Perfect jungle experience! Very clean, spacious room right in the middle of the jungle with great decor and a perfect semi-outdoor bathroom. Super kind staff. Highly recommend!

Everything! The rooms are fantastic (I stayed in a King room with a partial sea view, view over pool and great balcony), the swimming pool is large, clean and fantastic! The setting on the rocks overlooking the ocean, the food (seafood platter is GREAT value for money, curries and breakfast delicious), the staff, highly rated and recommended. We stayed at the Waves 5 nights and their sister property, The Beach House 4 nights and it was a fantastic combination! Waves gives you luxury and a great pool, while the beach house is a little less luxurious and no pool but ON the beach and in the heart of the town for shops and restaurants - I loved every moment and would highly recommend this! Beautiful, clean, comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious including their delicious homemade jams. Loved the rooftop pool area.

The location of the property is perfect. It is near Unawatuna Beach. The view from the room is mesmerizing. All the facilities were good. The property is very beautiful and spread out in a wide space. The breakfast served was delicious and had a variety of cuisines, especially Srilankan dishes. We stayed for 4 nights.

The place was great. The room is spacious, very clean and well decorated and has everything you need. There is also a common area with a table, poufs and a very well equipped kitchen. The attention of the manager is very kind. The location is very good, it is a 5 min walk to the beach and is surrounded by restaurants and stores. I recommend 100%

Exceptional stay – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at Manidi Villa. The place was extremely clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more special. The location is also great—quiet and calm, yet convenient to reach nearby attractions. Overall, Manidi Villa exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

amazing location, with beautiful views and friendly staff. bed was comfortable. short and lovely walk from the main beach and town which meant that it was quiet. beautiful garden and views of the ocean. loved the peacocks too.

I'm really glad I found this villa. Great value, hidden away on the Rumassala hilltop jungle next to Unawatuna Jungle Beach (my favorite beach in the south). Champika and his family, who own the place, were really nice and helpful. The house has a lovely balcony facing the jungle, where you can watch monkeys and other wildlife. The place is newly built and everything was perfect, down to the little details like the light switch with a dimmer next to the bed, plenty of power outlets, and a centrally heated hot shower with great pressure. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay with a homestay vibe, yet hotel-level quality of service.

The hotel is beautiful and the owner is incredibly kind and always up for a chat. The hotel is situated 2min from the beach and there are many great restaurants around..would definitely stay here again!
