Sweet little villa across the street from the ayurvedic spa. Friendly staff, peaceful location on the canal with beautiful landscape. Close enough to the beach, or walk into town. Booking included use of the spa's pool, delicious continental breakfast, and a massage. The villa had a kitchen with fridge, which we appreciated.

The manager and his wife make you feel special from the moment you arrive - actually before that - as I had sent them a host of emails and they replied incredibly swiftly. I knew they were caring and professional just from their response's. Nothing was too much trouble and if I hadn't been travelling around I would have made Hotel Transylvania my base - its proximity to Colombo and also the airport makes it an excellent staging post.

Brand new, beautifully furnished, oh so comfy beds, and such friendly hosts. This was the perfect place to spend the day prior to our long flight home. The individual cottages offer late check out and free airport shuttle. The breakfast was amazing, and so plentiful. Lunch and dinner are available and delectable.
