The Perfect Long-Stay Spot in Ella If you’re looking for a place in Ella that feels less like a hotel and more like a home, this budget-friendly stay is an absolute winner. I originally planned to stay for two nights and ended up extending for 4 days. A peaceful atmosphere away from the noise of the main road. Consistent Wi-Fi (a huge plus if you're working remotely). A "home away from home" vibe that makes it easy to settle in.

What I like most about the property is the calm atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. I also liked the garden and the view. The staff were friendly, and the place felt warm and welcoming.

Everything's perfect. The host picked us up from Ella station, took us to the city center so we can have lunch/dinner, brought us breakfast during our whole stay, and drove us to the bus station after check out. You're the best, Upali!! We'll never forget your kindness. 💗

Everything we experienced from the moment we stepped out of the car was exceptional. This is one of the most (if not the most) stunning views in Ella. The hotel is a 10 min drive from main town but feels like you're in another location altogether. Very peaceful, amazing design and it's a new hotel so it is extremely clean and kept spotless by the staff. The staff cannot do enough for you - they are attentive, warm and so lovely that they spoiled the rest of the hotels we stayed at for us because no one else could compare. We've stayed at a few hotels in Ella during previous trips and will always only return here now. They have a masseuse named Vinodini who literally made our trip. One of the best foot reflexology sessions I've ever had; such a treat since we were exhausted. Everyone in our group had different massages and were raving about her. The hotel doesn't have a pool or gym but everything else more than makes up for it. We were upgraded due to availability but it is absolutely worth spending the extra bit if you can to upgrade to the silver tip room. Even the shower is upgraded and earns the extra charge.

The staff was very professional and pleasant/ The manager was great at organizing my ride to the hotel. The food was authentic to the culture and delicious. My room was clean, the water was hot and the location was perfect to access very the area!

The entire property was beautiful - including the living area, the infinity pool with a stunning view, the room we stayed in - all of it was exceptional. The entire staff was very hospitable, especially Welles who really took care of us, and anticipated our needs and was truly such a joy to be around. We also did a cooking class with Chef Roshan and had so much fun - not only did we learn how to make delicious curries but also had an enjoyable experience. In addition, we had a tasting menu curated by Chef Isuru, which was hands down the best meal we had during our time in Sri Lanka. Overall, Kasun and the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable.

The hotel was in the beautiful hill. View was breathtaking. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. And the food so yummy.

Beautifully managed property with mountain facing rooms. All basic amenities are available and the property is at a walking distance from the Ella market. The host was very helpful and went above and beyond to arrange vans and build itineraries for us. There is also an option to request hearty meals beforehand which we enjoyed!

I would really recommend this to anyone coming to Ella! We had such a great stay at Humble Ella and were well taken care of. It’s all new with great standard from shower, AC, isolation to comfortable bed and spacious room. Also super close to everything but not on the main-main street which is something we also liked. We really enjoyed our stay here! :)

Hard to find needs better road signs but definitely worth the extra effort ,nice and quiet easy walk to town ,great breakfast including would definitely recommend
