Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming. They offer juice, fresh coconut and brought us to our room. The rooms are very clean. Lots of towels and the bathroom was spotless! The pool is in a nice location with a view of the ocean. The staff is what really made this an excellent place to stay. The manager sent us fresh fruit and coconuts and made sure we had everything we needed. He told us to make this feel like a second home and was very welcoming with a big smile on his face. This is a perfect spot for a quiet get away far enough from town to enjoy yourself peacefully. This is a must stay location!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Linara Hotel in Hikkaduwa, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. I especially loved having a private balcony where I could enjoy the fresh sea breeze and beautiful surroundings. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, which was well-maintained and a great place to spend a quiet afternoon. What stood out most was the tranquility of the location—away from the crowds, yet close enough to enjoy everything Hikkaduwa has to offer. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. From the cleanliness and comfort to the peaceful beachfront setting, everything exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Linara Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Hikkaduwa. 33 Lake Terrace is a calm and peaceful place. I enjoyed a boat ride on the river, where you can see many different birds and watch local fishermen at work. The beach is only a 10‑minute walk away, so it’s easy to enjoy both the river and the sea. Altogether, it’s a lovely spot for nature and relaxation.

Clean room. We stayed there two nights. Value for the money and delicious food. Recommend.

I am really happy we found this place and it wasn’t easy to leave (we prolonged our stay one more night, it was so nice). Place itself is very new, good equipped and modern. Beautiful surroundings and extremely helpful staff. Chef is preparing amazing breakfasts and can serve freshly caught fishes from the local fishermen.
